Brad Pitt has answered all the latest allegations made by his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, who is allegedly taking revenge against her former husband. In an official statement, the "Bullet Train" star stressed that he had owned everything he did, but not the ones he didn't have to do anything about.
For starters, Jolie filed a countersuit to Pitt's charges against her over their once-shared winery. The actress claimed he physically abused their kids, choking one and hitting another in the face during their infamous 2016 flight.
Now, the 58-year-old star has broken his silence about it, and his attorney, Anne Kiley, told E! News on Thursday, October 6, that he has been "on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation." He has acknowledged his mistakes "unlike the other side," which seems to refer to the filmmaker-humanitarian.
Kiley added that Pitt wouldn't own anything he was not responsible for. Despite the allegations, he and his camp were thankful that various public authorities Jolie's camp allegedly tried to use against them for the past six years have their own independent decisions about the matter.
For starters, the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services and FBI investigated the controversial 2016 incident between the two A-list stars. However, both cases were already closed, with Pitt not being charged with anything. That said, Kiley stressed that Pitt would continuously respond in court as always.
With all these commotions, sources close to Pitt told TMZ that Jolie is doing a "smear campaign" against the film producer. The insiders claimed the "Maleficent" star has repeatedly tried to put Pitt in a bad light as a child abuser.
Sadly, this move has already taken its toll on their six kids, who have become estranged from their father. One of the tipsters even stated that Pitt now has "a limited and strained relationship" with their children due to her alleged "alienation campaign."
The sources point out all the allegations Jolie has made against Pitt. Aside from the physical abuse on their 2016 flight, which Pitt denied, Jolie still demanded the authorities prosecute him. She even went to the family court to convince the judge that he was an unfit parent to their children, wanting him to be denied custody.
The judge gave them equal custody and denied Jolie's abuse claims. She then filed an "anonymous freedom of information" lawsuit against the FBI and asked to publicize her allegations that allegedly happened in their 2016 flight.
From there, she filed another charge over their joint winery dispute, which the tipsters claimed had nothing to do with her "allegations of abuse" but revealed in great detail.
Hence, they all see these as a form of revenge against Pitt, adding she has "poisoned their kids" to turn against their father with their little to no relationship. This happens as Pitt strongly controls himself from saying anything bad about Jolie for the sake of their children despite being deeply wounded by her "vicious, relenting attacks."
