The state of California delivers millions of dollars for a single stimulus check payment, which helps to reduce the impact of economic inflation. California sent 2.1 million direct deposits to various households two Fridays ago, with a maximum value of $1,050.

Several recipients are inquiring as to why they haven't received their stimulus check money even though California issued the first payments a week ago.

The Middle-Class Tax Refund (MCTR) payments began to be disbursed by direct deposit on October 7 and will continue to be issued throughout the month, according to the state of California's Franchise Tax Board.

Payments may be made by direct transfer or pre-paid card to current California residents who lived in the state for six months or more in 2020, submitted their 2020 tax returns by Oct. 15, 2021, met the CA AGI restrictions, and were not entitled to claim a dependant in 2020.

When will I get my stimulus check?

All Californians who choose an electronic transaction over a cheque received 700,000 inflation relief deposits. The Franchise Tax Board must send 2.1 million direct deposits, according to the same data. But don't worry if you didn't get your money for the inflation relief; California will deliver installments every week.

On Nov. 14, 8 million residents who qualify for a family grant of $1,050 will get one. Contact the FTB by dialing 800-542-9332 if you have any questions regarding your deposit.

When will my stimulus funds be delivered?

In the coming week, the state of California will deliver stimulus inflation funds to nearly 10 million families. According to FTB spokesperson Andrew LePage, 90% of the direct deposits will be paid by the end of October.

  • Eligible people who signed up for the Golden State Stimulus could get their money between Oct. 7 and Oct. 25.

  • All taxpayers who submitted their information through the FTB will receive their contributions between Oct. 28 and Nov. 14.

  • All eligible residents who requested money in their mailboxes between Oct. 25 and Dec. 10 will receive prepaid debit cards following October. The FTB's deadline will be in December if your funds don't come by the end of November.

  •  If you submitted your application for stimulus funding, the state accepted it, but you weren't eligible for the Golden State Stimulus or direct payment, you will get your money in Jan. 15.
