Gisele Bündchen gave her husband, Tom Brady, an ultimatum to leave football or lose her if he didn't do so. The talks about the NFL star's retirement have been going on for a while, but the football icon himself seems to have no plans to retire.

The ultimatum reportedly threatens to end their marriage. So, does Brady give in to Bündchen's warning?

A source told Us Weekly that the supermodel made the footballer choose between leaving football to spend time with their family or she would be gone for good. She wanted him to stop playing and avoid continuously getting injured in the game.

If things get worse, she fears he will not be able to enjoy life in the future. The insider added that she was doing it for their family.

This is not the first time Brady's career gets between the couple's marriage. Page Six broke the news in September that the two had an "epic fight" due to his decision to return to the football field after retiring.

At the time, a different insider told the publication that Bündchen had always been the one with their kids. So, they both agreed he would retire so that he could focus on their family.

Sadly, he changed his mind and went unretired. Brady and Bündchen share two kids, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 9. He also has a 15-yar-old son, Jack, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.

Earlier this year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star surprised many when he went out of retirement and returned to the game after just 40 days. He said in a tweet that he realized his place was still on the field, not in the stands.

He said his retirement would come in time, but not now, stressing that he loved his teammates and supportive family, and they made it all possible. He continued that he was coming back for the 23rd season.

From there, rumors about Brady and Bündchen's divorce began. Since then, the famed quarterback has also been vocal about his issues, publicly admitting he's having a tough time.

He started the NFL season disappointedly, which seemed to have stemmed from his family problems. That said, rumors have it he will be quitting the game to fix his marriage with Bündchen.

However, in an episode of his "Let's Go!" podcast, he reiterated his statement that there would be no "immediate retirement in his future." He explained he had already moved on from his retirement and made a commitment to his team, stressing he had never quit on anything in his life.
