Big Hit Music confirms the claims that BTS's RM will release his first solo album. After the success of his mixtapes, Kim Nam Joon will treat fans with a new set of tracks.

RM will be the next BTS member who will debut solo as the group takes on a hiatus to work on their individual projects. So before the boys start their enlistment, they seem to make sure that their followers will never be left empty-handed.

"It's true that RM is planning to release his solo album," Big Hit Music's representative confirmed. "He is currently preparing for it."

Several reports claimed that the 28-year-old is working on his solo album, which is already in the final stages of its release. It already has an alleged release schedule, which will be on November 25.

It will be the first time RM will release his solo music after four years. He last dropped his second mixtape, "Mono," in 2018.

He's also the third BTS member who will officially debut solo after J-Hope dropped "Jack in the Box" earlier this year and Jin released "The Astronaut" in October. However, there are no words yet on the format of RM's album, how many tracks it will have, and other major details.

Meanwhile, after several talks and debates, it has been decided that BTS members will perform their duties for the country of South Korea and enlist in the military accordingly. As the group's oldest member, Jin will be the first to enlist.

HYBE released an official statement about the matter on October 17, announcing BTS's enlistment. It revealed Jin requested to cancel the delay of his military enlistment in late October and follow the Military Manpower Administration's enlistment process.

The other members will then follow suit, according to their individual plans. On Jin's live broadcast on WeVerse on October 28, he said he would start writing documents for his upcoming military enlistment after his return from Argentina to South Korea.

He also addressed the various changes that happened before the announcement, explaining that he originally planned to enlist in June. But to be considerate to their fans, he waited until October to perform with the rest of the BTS members in their recent Busan concert. He also didn't want a tearful performance, so the enlistment announcement was delayed for a couple of days.
