The upcoming "The Crown" Season 5 is already the talk of the town due to its depiction of the fallout of King Charles III and Princess Diana's marriage. Now, one royal expert sees this story may affect Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship, as if it may break them further apart or bring them back together.

Royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti claimed "The Crown" Season 5 would only revive people's interest in Prince William and Prince Harry's childhood. However, it remains to be seen how it will affect their relationship, though he seems sure it will take its toll on them.

The show will cover the events that happened to the royal family throughout the 1990s, including Queen Elizabeth II's "annus horribilis," or horrible year. It will also feature the fallout of three royal marriages, including the then-Prince Charles and Princess Diana's divorce and the fire at Windsor Castle.

So, Sacerdoti told Express it would touch the two princes' lives and the things that affected them. This will also increase the public's interest in their lives and history, possibly bringing them closer or pushing them further apart.

Recently, Prince William and Prince Harry seemed to put their differences aside and showed a united front to mourn the death of their grandmother in September. The Fab Four even reunited to meet the mourners in a walkabout outside Windsor Castle after Her Majesty's demise.

Their get-together instantly resulted in assumptions that they had already reconciled, though there was no news about it.

That said, Sacerdoti worries that the release of "The Crown" Season 5 may once again change their relationship. "I think that any resurgence of interests in their childhood stories and the difficulties and tragedies that were part of it will definitely be the sort of thing that can make their relationship change," he explains.

Neither Kate Middleton nor Meghan Markle's husbands have commented about the series and its depiction of their parents' relationship. However, Sacerdoti is convinced that the Duke of Sussex will talk about it in his docuseries on Netflix, knowing he and his wife have signed a lucrative deal with the streaming giant.

Meanwhile, many want to know what is Prince William's reaction after Prince Harry dropped major details about his upcoming memoir, "Spare." The Sun reported it again put the two brothers apart, and the Prince of Wales had "barely spoken" to his younger sibling since the news about his book broke.

Despite that, the royal family is still eager to read the book and learn Prince Harry's revelations. This news comes on the heels of Prince Harry's alleged plan to return to the U.K. to promote "Spare" before its release on January 10.
