Aaron Carter and his older brother, Nick Carter, used to have a misunderstanding, but they were reportedly in a good place before the former teen pop singer died Saturday, November 5. He was 34.

Nick celebrated his younger brother's life by paying him an emotional tribute in a post on Instagram on Sunday, November 6. Whatever happened between the two, the Backstreet Boys member clearly loves his sibling.

The "Crush on You" hitmaker's rep told HollywoodLife that Aaron was making amends with many people before his untimely death. He had even made amends and peace with Nick.

Aaron loved his brother and even looked up to him in different ways. They were on the verge of making everything good again, but this tragic incident happened.

Nick, alternatively, paid tribute to Aaron with a slideshow of their pictures together a day after his death. He said that though they had a complicated relationship, his love for him had never faded.

He had always hoped Aaron would want to walk a healthy path someday and find the help he desperately needed. He then called "addiction and mental illness the real villain" in Aaron's passing.

Nick then confessed he would miss his brother more than anyone would know. "I love you Chizz," he said, adding he could now find the peace he couldn't find here on Earth. "I love you baby brother."

Nick and Arron had a physical fight on their reality TV show "House of Carters," highlighting their rivalry. Their feud ignited in 2019 when Aaron posted a clip of their brawl again on social media.

Nick alleged that Aaron confessed to the thought of killing his pregnant wife and unborn child, prompting Nick to protect himself and their family. Aaron denied the claim, explaining he had never thought of harming anyone.

Nick apologized, and they were reunited later that year after Aaron was hospitalized for an undisclosed reason.

Meanwhile, the police found evidence that Aaron huffed compressed air after seeing multiple cans in his bathroom and bedroom, along with some prescription pills. However, it remained to be seen what caused his drowning.

TMZ's law enforcement sources said the last time Aaron was seen alive was around 2 a.m. on Friday, November 4. The insiders claimed the housekeeper opened the door when cops arrived to do a welfare check, though no one knew who called them.

When Aaron heard it, he asked them to leave and told the housekeeper not to bother him. The next day, the housekeeper went to his room to offer him coffee, but she heard his dog going crazy inside the room, so she opened it and found Aaron's lifeless body in the tub.
