Denji will return to his feet to fight the new devil in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 9. Fans may also see what Aki will do next after Himeno sacrifices her life for him, but is she really dead?
The previous episode started fine until an expected turn of events happened. It took a dark turn that might continue in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 9.
New power monsters and devils appeared in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 8, resulting in Himeno's death. The anime is only on its eighth episode, but things are already getting crazier than usual.
The amount of blood and gore will increase in the next episode, and fans can expect it to be insane. With the huge budget the makers and its studio, MAPPA, spend on this project, it promises to feature some of the biggest fights in anime history.
So, fans have to wait and see how Denji's Chainsaw Man will fight the Katana Man in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 9.
The previous episode also left major cliffhangers, and there are theories that Himeno or Makima may not be really dead. Either of them may return to life through their contracts with the devils.
However, other Division Four members may have really met their demise. So, Denji will surely make a move and face Katana Man before any of them dies.
In addition, the mysterious blonde woman may end up getting away. This may be the right time for the Gun Devil to show up, as the man in the ramen restaurant has mentioned him as if they have already met.
This may mean he's just hiding somewhere, and Denji and the rest of the gang may learn his whereabouts in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 9 after his minions have started to show up.
Meanwhile, in "Chainsaw Man" Episode 8, Himeno and Denji returned to her place. Himeno asked Denji to sleep with her, to which he agreed.
However, to his confusion, he later refused when he saw the lollipop Makima gave him. Himeno was happy, though, that they didn't sleep together when she woke up the next morning as she had feelings for Aki.
Makima and her assistant were later shot in the head and killed, along with other Division Four members, though who survived weren't revealed. A strange man then attacked Denji, Power, Aki, and Himeno.
Aki had the man eaten by his Fox Devil, but it emerged as a devil-human hybrid like Denji and appeared to be the Katana Man. Aki killed the enemy using his Curse Devil, but a mysterious blonde woman resurrected him.
Himeno saved Aki after making a deal with her Ghost Devil. Himeno suddenly disappeared after the blonde woman summoned the Snake Devil to consume Himeno's Ghost Devil.
What happens from here can be seen when "Chainsaw Man" Episode 9 drops on Tuesday, December 6.
