After more than a year, the dating rumors surrounding BTS's Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi have resurfaced. Amid the denials of the two' stars' agencies, BigHit Music and Y-Bloom Entertainment, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho claims the rumors are true.
In a new YouTube video posted Monday, February 13, the former reporter revealed Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi were in a relationship until last May. He said he had investigated the two, and here's what he found out.
The social media personality had been investigating this issue for a couple of years and closely looked at the details of their alleged romance, proving they indeed dated. He learned that the two were together until 2021 through a source who knew them well.
However, he admitted he didn't know if they continue dating until May 2022. The dating rumors began when Lee Yoo Bi was listed as one of Kumuda's directors while Jungkook donated to the art corporation.
This connection allegedly brought the pair together. They were then seen wearing an alleged "couple item," bead bracelets. The accessory was said to be a Buddhist rosary with a special meaning for the wearer.
Lee Jin Ho also claimed that Jungkook bought Lee Yoo Bi a luxury Chanel bag after seeing a review of an ID the singer used in an online shopping mall. Comparing it to the purse the female personality uses, it perfectly matches the product that the BTS member allegedly purchased.
In addition, he also noted that Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi were both on Jeju Island in November, alluding they were together.
Meanwhile, it was in December 2021 when the dating rumors between the two broke out. At the time, fans were looking for hints of their romance through some alleged couple items they had.
So to finally shut down the negative news, both Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi's agencies broke their silence. The two companies both denied the claims and finally shut it down.
Y-Bloom strongly refused the rumors, calling them "baseless." An official statement, via SportsKeeda, said Lee Yoo Bi and Jungkook's dating news made no sense.
It stressed the two never met and didn't even know each other. Among the BTS members, Lee Yoo Bi only knew Suga, and their meeting happened long ago.
However, Y-Bloom admitted it had no idea if its talent and Sugar were still in touch. Alternatively, BigHit also released its official statement, denying Jungkook and Lee Yoo Bi had ever dated.
