As the date for King Charles' coronation approaches, plans are being finalized for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to attend the momentous event in the UK, according to multiple sources.

With just a month left before the coronation at Westminster Abbey in London, a royal insider told us, "There have been extensive talks between the Sussexes and the palace, and time is of the essence. This historic event is eagerly anticipated, and it is hoped that Harry and Meghan will be present."

However, the final decision rests with Prince Harry, as a well-informed source revealed, "Families can be challenging, but this is far from a typical family. Harry has numerous concerns about how the event will be organized."

There is ongoing debate over whether the Duchess of Cornwall will wear a tiara to the coronation. She has previously donned Princess Diana's favored headpiece, the Lover's Knot tiara. Nonetheless, sources say it is doubtful that Meghan, 41, will have access to the royal family's jewelry, apart from what Harry has already gifted her.

The relationship between Prince Harry, 38, and the royal family has been strained, as evidenced by his revelations in his explosive memoir 'Spare.' In the book, he expressed doubt that his family would ever apologize to him and his wife.

The coronation ceremony, scheduled for May 6, will be a global event. Prince George, Charles' eldest grandchild, will play a prominent role, along with Queen Consort Camilla's grandsons, Gus and Louis Lopes, Freddy Parker Bowles, and great-nephew Arthur Elliot.

The Sussexes recognize the scrutiny they will face during the event, regardless of their decision to attend or not. Invitations featuring a design symbolizing Charles' environmental advocacy were sent out this week, and the Sussexes were among the recipients.

At Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September, the couple was seated in the second row of Westminster Abbey, behind Prince William and Princess Kate. Their placement for the coronation remains uncertain, as does their accommodation in the UK. It is speculated that they might stay at Frogmore Cottage for the final time.

It is still unknown whether the couple will bring their children, Archie and Lilibet, to the event. President Joe Biden has confirmed that First Lady Jill Biden will represent the United States, while he will not attend.

Representatives for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Buckingham Palace were unavailable for comment.
