Royal biographer Tessa Dunlop believes that the upcoming coronation of King Charles will prove to be a significant challenge for Prince Harry, especially since Meghan Markle will remain in California with their children during his UK visit.

In a recent interview, Dunlop discussed Prince Harry's uneasy demeanor when attending Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022. She observed that he appeared uncomfortable and relied heavily on Meghan's support. "Clearly he does lean on her very heavily. And he's coming alone," Dunlop noted, adding that this leaves him vulnerable and exposed during the coronation.

Dunlop and other royal commentators, like Christopher Andersen, have suggested that Prince Harry will likely feel a sense of demotion at the event. Andersen stated, "My guess is that Harry will be treated like something of a pariah and that he is well aware of that. So, you have to give him credit for being willing to show up anyway."

Andersen further emphasized the humiliation factor for Harry, as he will likely be relegated to the sidelines while other royals take center stage. He anticipates numerous photographs of Harry standing alone, appearing downcast and frustrated.

Shockingly, Andersen even suggested that the disgraced Prince Andrew might receive better treatment and more respect from the Crown. "That's how deep the animosity toward the Sussexes runs in royal circles these days," he explained.

With Meghan Markle staying behind in California, Prince Harry faces the challenge of navigating his family's complex relationships and the tense atmosphere at the coronation without her support. As tensions remain high between the Sussexes and the royal family, it remains to be seen how Harry will cope with the event and whether any reconciliation efforts will be made.
