Prince Harry appears to be in a subservient role in his marriage to Meghan Markle, according to Angela Levin, a renowned royal biographer. Levin shared her insights on the couple's relationship during a recent appearance on GB News' "Dan Wootton Tonight," suggesting that the Duke of Sussex's conduct more resembles that of a "servant" than a husband.

Drawing on her experience shadowing Prince Harry for a year to write her 2018 book "Harry: A Biography of a Prince," Levin suggested that the balance of power in the Sussexes' relationship is skewed. "If you watch when they're together, he acts as if he's a servant, not as if he's a husband. He's always ensuring she's comfortable and even opens the door for her," Levin commented.

The royal biographer also recalled accompanying the couple on their first official outing in Nottingham, England, in December 2017, just after their engagement announcement. Levin alleges that the former "Suits" actress was eager to take the lead during their meet and greet with the crowd, claiming Markle even "pushed Harry out of the way."

When host Dan Wootton suggested that Markle's assertive behavior was a reflection of a "modern woman" being supported by her husband, Levin countered, arguing that it was poor etiquette. Levin suggested that the Duchess of Sussex should have approached her new royal role with more caution, observing before asserting herself. "Her ideas that she could have put through would have been very happily accepted, but she can't wait," Levin contended.

While footage from the Nottingham event appears to contradict Levin's claims, showing Markle warmly received by the crowd and engaging in affectionate interactions with Prince Harry, Levin stands by her viewpoint.

Levin also raised concerns about Markle's lack of public support for Prince Harry during significant challenges, such as the backlash he received for his controversial memoir "Spare" and his unsuccessful attempt to fund his own police protection in the U.K. Levin views this as a potential harbinger of the end of their relationship.

Speculation regarding potential trouble in the Sussexes' marriage recently surfaced, with rumors of Prince Harry having a hotel "escape place" where he stays without Markle. A representative for the Duke, however, denied these rumors, categorically stating they were false.

The International Business Times could not independently confirm Levin's allegations. As it stands, the couple, who recently celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary, continues to navigate their shared public life under intense scrutiny.
