In a recent episode of "GB News," British journalist and royal commentator Angela Levin claimed that Meghan Markle's insatiable wants have left Prince Harry desperate to appease her. Levin, who is known for her royal biographies, engaged in a discussion with host Dan Wootton about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex following the termination of their lucrative Spotify deal.
According to Levin, Markle's contentment appears elusive as her demands persistently grow. "The duchess seems never to be satisfied, be it money, the trendiest clothing, or more jewels. This relentless yearning puts Harry in a tight spot and likely contributes to his drinking; he's constantly trying to fulfill her wishes," said Levin.
When asked by Wootton if she sympathized with Prince Harry, the author of "Harry: Biography of a Prince" admitted to fluctuating feelings of both anger and pity towards him. Levin, who spent significant time with Harry while working on his biography, emphasized that Harry's desperation to gratify his wife often seems futile, as her desires appear to know no bounds.
"It's challenging to satisfy someone whose wants are always escalating. The couple hinted at relocating to a grander house in a more upscale neighborhood, but those plans never materialize," Levin elaborated.
The author of "Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort" also suggested that the Sussexes are adept at controlling their media image, dropping tantalizing hints about their lives to create positive press. Levin cited the rumored Dior deal as an instance of such a ploy.
Levin said, "Perhaps the Dior news was another calculated move by the Sussexes to showcase how much Markle is sought-after. But in reality, such opportunities seem to be dwindling unless, as our conversation suggests, they choose to continue their disparaging comments about the royal family." However, these allegations remain unverified.
Recent confirmation from Markle's representative to The Telegraph debunked the rumored Dior deal, leaving many puzzled about the origins of such a story. An anonymous Dior insider mirrored the sentiment, expressing confusion about the emergence of such a tale.
In the same interview, Levin expressed a belief that Markle might publish a memoir. However, she cautioned that the public, particularly in America, is losing patience with the Sussexes' continuous critique of the royal family. "Enough is enough. It's time to move on. The constant nitpicking and criticism are no longer tolerable," Levin asserted.
Backing this sentiment, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith noted that public interest in the Sussexes appears tied to their contentious comments about the royal family. He expressed his fondness for Markle's performance in 'Suits' but highlighted the limited interest in their views unless linked to royal disputes.
