BLACKPINK, the globally renowned K-pop girl group, has made significant waves with their "Born Pink" world tour, which commenced in October 2022. As the tour is set to wrap up on September 17 in Seoul, it has been recognized as the second-largest K-pop world tour ever, only surpassed by BTS' 2018-2019 "Love Yourself" tour.

The "Born Pink" tour has reportedly attracted an audience of approximately 1.95 million, a figure that is not far behind BTS' tour, which drew around 2.02 million spectators. This achievement is even more remarkable when considering that BLACKPINK has surpassed the audience numbers of BIGBANG's 2015-2016 "MADE" world tour, which had approximately 1.5 million attendees.

Previously, a report by Seoulspace in March did not include BLACKPINK in its list of the most significant and highest-grossing K-pop tours. That list was dominated by tours from second and third-generation K-pop boy groups. However, with the recent numbers, BLACKPINK has not only overtaken tours by renowned groups like EXO, TVXQ, and BIGBANG but also established "Born Pink" as the most significant K-pop tour by a female group.

In July, BLACKPINK set an impressive record by selling over 1 million concert tickets, becoming the first female Asian act to achieve such a milestone. According to Touring Data, the group sold over 1 million tickets across 44 shows during their ongoing world tour. The "Born Pink" tour has reportedly generated a revenue of $186.7 million from the sale of 1,078,963 tickets, with 20 more shows yet to be reported.

The grand finale of the "Born Pink" tour will be held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on September 16 and 17. This will mark the end of the group's sold-out world tour, which had its inaugural show in October 2022 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The ticket sales for the final concerts were brisk, with the BLINK membership ticket pre-sale taking place at the end of August and general ticket sales starting on September 1.

Before their return to Seoul for the finale, BLACKPINK members - Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé - showcased their talents at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Oracle Park in San Francisco, and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in late August, marking the conclusion of their "Born Pink" U.S. encore tour.

The success of the "Born Pink" tour underscores BLACKPINK's immense global popularity and their ability to draw fans from all over the world. As the tour comes to a close, fans and industry experts alike will be eagerly awaiting the group's next move in the ever-evolving world of K-pop.
