BLACKPINK is set to wrap up their [BORN PINK] world tour today (16th) and tomorrow (17th) at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. This marks a significant milestone as they return to South Korea, where their journey began, creating a new chapter in K-pop history.

The event, which celebrates the culmination of their year-long tour, is drawing significant attention. It's not just a reunion with their local fans but also a grand showcase of their accumulated stage prowess and production expertise. YG Entertainment explained that fans worldwide will get a sensory experience of why BLACKPINK has garnered such global admiration.

A Grand Finale to 64 Shows, Conquering Global Festivals

Since last October, BLACKPINK embarked on their most extensive tour, covering 64 shows across 34 cities in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East. During this period, they made history as the first Asian artists to headline major global festivals like Coachella in the U.S. and Hyde Park in the U.K., truly establishing themselves as 'world-class' performers.

YG Entertainment emphasized that the Seoul concert is a culmination of their best performances, essentially the final edition of [BORN PINK]. They plan to recreate some of the iconic Coachella performances, and some hit songs will feature unique arrangements exclusive to this event. The number of dancers for this tour is the highest ever, adding to the grandeur of the show.

Elevated Scale and Diverse Production Variations

YG's production team has continuously evolved their performances to adapt to various global environments. Given that BLACKPINK is the first K-pop female group to perform at the Gocheok Dome, South Korea's largest indoor venue, they've expanded elements like stage size, LED screens, lasers, lighting, and special effects to enhance the audience's immersive experience.

The traditional Korean Hanok set, which was praised at Coachella, has been redesigned to capture the essence and beauty of Korean culture, with meticulous attention to details.

A Global Celebration with BLINKs Everywhere

The performance on the 17th, marking the grand finale, will be streamed online for the first time during the [BORN PINK] tour. This allows BLINKs worldwide to join in the spectacular celebration, offering a meaningful gift to fans who've been with them throughout and those unable to attend in person.

Various attractions await fans in Seoul. A pop-up collaboration with Berdi, which has previously thrilled fans in the UK, France, and the US, will be set up near Hongdae. On the day of the concert, there will be various booths and events, including a carbon calculator to encourage attendees to reduce their carbon footprint, ensuring both entertainment and meaningful engagement for all.
