The group FIFTY FIFTY was nominated for a major category at the 'Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs),' one of the top three music award ceremonies in the United States, but unfortunately did not secure a win.
At the '2023 Billboard Music Awards' held at 10 AM (KST) on November 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, USA, FIFTY FIFTY was nominated in the 'Top Duo/Group' category but did not receive the award. The honor in this category went to Fuerza Regida.
Previously, Keena from FIFTY FIFTY expressed her feelings about the performance of their song 'CUPID' on the 19th through the Billboard YouTube channel, stating, "It feels so surreal." Regarding their attendance at the 'Billboard Music Awards,' she said, "I can't believe we're here. It's an honor to be nominated, and I'm grateful."
Meanwhile, at this year's newly established K-Pop category, NewJeans won the 'Top Global K-Pop Artist,' and BLACKPINK received the 'K-Pop Touring Artist' award.
NewJeans also garnered attention by being nominated for 'Top Billboard Global Artist (Excluding U.S.),' and Jimin's 'Like Crazy' was nominated in the 'Top Selling Song' category, raising expectations.
