BTS Jimin's album 'FACE' has been recognized as the best album of 2023, shining both domestically and internationally.
Jimin's 'FACE', released in March 2023 as his first solo artist album, won the theme pick 'The Best Solo Album by an Idol Who Shines on Their Own' conducted by the domestic K-pop community 'Choeaedol'. From November 7 to November 24, 2023, 'FACE' garnered 70,067 votes out of a total of 246,645, earning the honor of representing 2023 as the best K-pop solo album.
As the winner of 'The Best Solo Album by an Idol Who Shines on Their Own', Jimin's 'FACE' album's title track 'Like Crazy' official music video will be posted for one day on December 24 on Choeaedol's free charging station. Furthermore, Jimin's 'FACE' album was also selected as part of 'The 30 Best Pop Albums of 2023' by Pop Crush, a New York-based digital site covering pop culture.
The media stated, "Jimin's first solo album starts with a unique circus horn sound. Considering that Jimin is a member of another musical group that has transformed culture and conquered the world, it appropriately reminds us of The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
