BTS's Jungkook has ascended to the top spot on America's largest radio, being named '2023 Bop Of The Year'. One of the leading radio networks in the United States, 'Audacy', announced the '2023 Bop Of The Year' through its official account.

Over approximately two weeks starting December 6th, Audacy conducted the 'Bop Of The Year' poll via social media to determine the best song of 2023 across all genres, including Pop, K-Pop, Alternative Rock, Country, Hip-hop+R&B.

As a result, Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' clinched the first place, showcasing its status as a powerful 'mega hit song'.

'Seven' surpassed hit tracks from global superstars like Taylor Swift's 'Cruel Summer', Dua Lipa's 'Dance The Night', Olivia Rodrigo's 'Vampire', Miley Cyrus's 'Flowers', Ed Sheeran's 'Eyes Closed', Troye Sivan's 'Rush', Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For?', and Drake's 'First Person Shooter', claiming the title of the best song of the year and affirming Jungkook's popularity as a global solo artist.

Previously, Jungkook has also consecutively secured the top spot for two years in Audacy's 'Artist of the Summer' (Artist of the Summer) for 2022-2023, further solidifying his status as a leading artist. Jungkook and 'Seven' have been selected as the 'Greatest Pop Star of 2023' and listed in 'The 100 Best Songs of 2023' by the American music media 'Billboard', as well as clinching the first place in the 'Global Song of the Summer for 2023'. Additionally, they won the 'Top Global K-Pop Song' category at the '2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs)'.

Moreover, as the first Korean solo artist, Jungkook also won the 'Song of Summer' category at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' (MTV VMA) and bagged two awards, 'Best Song' and 'Best K-Pop', at the '2023 MTV Europe Music Awards' (MTV EMA). 'Seven' also made it to 'The 100 Best Songs of 2023' announced by the American music media 'Rolling Stone'.

'Seven' debuted at number one on Billboard's main singles chart 'Hot 100', maintaining the top spot for nine consecutive weeks on 'Global (Excl. U.S.)' and seven weeks on 'Global 200'. It also set a world record by achieving the fastest 1 billion streams on Spotify (pre-filtering) and was officially recognized by the 'Guinness World Records'.
