BTS Jungkook's solo single "Seven" has demonstrated its immense popularity by achieving the fastest 1.2 billion streams in Spotify's history. Released on July 14th, "Seven" surpassed 1.2 billion streams (pre-filtering) on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify.

"Seven" accomplished this feat with a total of 1,201,687,947 streams in just 155 days after its release. According to the World Music Awards (WMA) official account, Jungkook has now equaled the record set by global pop star Harry Styles with "As It Was" (155 days), for the fastest time to reach 1.2 billion streams on Spotify. This is even quicker than other global hits like The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's "Stay" (158 days) and Miley Cyrus's "Flowers" (158 days).

Previously, "Seven" had already made history on Spotify by being the fastest to reach 100 million streams (pre-filtering) and then the shortest to achieve 1 billion streams (pre-filtering), officially being recognized as a world record by the 'Guinness World Records'.

Jungkook was included in Spotify's 'Billions Club' playlist, which features songs that have surpassed 1 billion streams, and received a commemorative 'dish frame' as a gift.

"Seven" was ranked 4th in Spotify's 'Top Tracks of 2023' as part of its year-end summary, showcasing the global phenomenon of 'Seven Syndrome'. Additionally, "Seven" achieved the first and longest 71 days at number 1 on the 'Daily Top Song Global' chart as an Asian artist's song and remained at number 1 for 9 weeks on the 'Weekly Top Song Global' chart in 2023, the longest for any male artist worldwide.

The song has been recognized and awarded on various platforms. It was listed in Billboard's 'The 100 Best Songs of 2023: Staff Picks', won the 'Top Global K-Pop Song' at the '2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs)', 'Song of Summer' at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards', and 'Best Song' at the '2023 MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA)'. Furthermore, "Seven" was selected in Rolling Stone's 'The 100 Best Songs of 2023' and claimed the 'Bop Of The Year' title from one of the largest radio networks in the US, 'Audacy'.
