While promoting his 2022 film "Bullet Train," Brad Pitt became uncharacteristically emotional on the red carpet when asked about his daughter Shilo's dance abilities after a video of the teen went viral. The former husband of Angelina Jolie said it brought tears to his eyes and even described his mini-me as "beautiful."
Despite all of the drama between Brad and Angelina since their 2016 divorce, the "Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood" actor has maintained a close relationship with Shiloh. According to an unnamed insider, Shiloh wants to leave her mother's house and move into Brad's $8.3 million Los Feliz mansion.
“Shiloh isn’t unhappy at Angelina’s, but she’s turning 18 soon and wants to shake things up. Plus, she adores Brad and has always been daddy’s little girl,” the tipster stated to Star Magazine, adding that Brad “was ecstatic when Shiloh told him the news.”
It is said to be Brad's dream scenario, but Angelina considers it her worst nightmare. The "Gia" actress has been fighting Brad for custody of their younger children for nearly eight years.
“Naturally, Angelina wasn’t happy, but she knows Shiloh is a woman now and can make her own decisions. Shiloh can walk over at any time to see Angie and her brothers and sister,” the informant told the magazine.
Shiloh's siblings have mixed feelings about the move. While Brad is on good terms with Knox and Vivienne, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara "have yet to repair their relationship with their father."
Zahara revealed she had dropped Brad's last name when she introduced herself as "Zahara Marley Jolie" at a Spelman College sorority event in November 2023. That same month, Pax's 2020 Instagram post surfaced, in which he described Brad as "a f*cking awful human being."
If Shiloh's alleged plan goes ahead, it will reportedly be a change for everyone involved, particularly Brad's one-year girlfriend, Ines de Ramón. The informant stated that the 31-year-old jewelry designer began dating Brad a few months ago but has yet to meet his children.
“Things may be a little awkward. It seemed to be a good plan initially, but Shiloh doesn’t even know Ines,” the insider said. To recall, Ines finalized her divorce from “Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley in late February.
Shiloh was said to have forgiven her father, Brad, in February 2023. Angelina's daughter had "forgiven" Pitt for his past transgressions and for failing to support her in the years following the plane incident. Shiloh reportedly just wanted to move forward and strengthen their relationship.
"She knows Brad’s sober now and doing his best," a source told The Things. In addition, Shiloh wants Jolie to "move on and be happy."
According to the insider, Shiloh has been "begging Angie" to reach an agreement and finalize the divorce so the entire family can move on. Brad and Shiloh have had a close relationship since Shiloh's birth. According to sources, the closeness may be the key to getting Pitt and his family back on track.
"Shiloh might just be the bridge he needs to better mend his relationship," a tipster claimed. This is because Pitt and Shiloh share many characteristics, including their interpersonal relationships.
"They not only look alike, but they have the same big heart. They’re very compassionate and loving. They’re both very open, they enjoy meeting new people. Shiloh seems to have somehow picked up Brad’s midwestern demeanor,” the same source continued.
Despite reports that Brad and Shiloh are doing well, many fans are skeptical of the stories being fed to the media. They suspect the “Troy” actor or associates may be behind the stories.

It is unclear who is behind the leaked February 2023 story. Fans do not buy what they read. Despite this, many people remain optimistic that Brad, Shiloh, and the rest of his children are on the path to rebuilding their relationships.
