Keanu Reeves, a screen hunk, is apparently ready to overcome his worries and enter the marital Matrix!

Insiders claimed that Keanu, 59, is ready to propose to artist lover Alexandra Grant, 54, without needing a prenup to protect his $400 million fortune. The enigmatic actor is reported to be so eager to marry the digital artist that he may even elope.

"Keanu is madly in love with Alexandra and is ready to bite the bullet and get married," an insider told The National Enquirer. According to reports, the wedding will be a low-key affair, in keeping with his laid-back lifestyle.

"It won't be some big splashy affair because that's just not his style. More likely it'll be a simple ceremony with a handful of guests in the backyard at their home in L.A. Or maybe they'll elope and then have a small celebration with their friends afterward,” the tipster explained to the entertainment news outlet.

Informants suggested that the 59-year-old has not bonded with anyone like Alexandra in more than 20 years. They met in 2009, but were only friends and partners, creating a book called “Ode to Happiness,” which he authored and she illustrated. A decade later, they formed a pair.

"Keanu had reservations about marriage since losing his pregnant fiancée Jennifer Syme in a 2001 car crash, but he's apparently over that now," the insider claimed.

While most stars of his stature require a prenup, tipsters claim the John Wick actor "trusts Alexandra completely and doesn't see any point in getting hung up with lawyers and paperwork."

"He doesn't have a shred of doubt that what they have is the real deal and he's confident it will go the distance. He knows she's got the best intentions and he doesn't want to make her sign some paper just to protect his pile of money,” the source went on.

"It's kind of crazy when you consider how much he's worth. But he's an old-fashioned guy who believes love is forever,” it continued.

According to one publication, the pair has been talking about having a low-key wedding for a long time. "They want to keep the whole thing under wraps, except for family members and a few close friends," a source told RadarOnline in 2023.

Keanu and Alexandra made their public debut as a pair in 2019. The couple walked the red carpet together at the LACMA Art and Film Gala, and the internet erupted with curiosity about Grant's identity, as well as delight for Reeves, who had a tumultuous dating history before to meeting Grant.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the two enjoyed catching up with friends at cocktail hour, including Will Ferrell and his wife, Viveca Paulin, and Grant requested that a friend shoot a photo of her and Reeves on her phone.

In an interview with Vogue, Alexandra discussed the public's reaction to her relationship with Keanu and how she was dealing with her newfound celebrity. "I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November, and that's fascinating," she told the magazine at the time. "But the question I've been asking in all of this is: 'What is the opportunity for good?'"

Alexandra also discussed her desire to keep her hair naturally gray, planned projects, and ideas on love and marriage. "Love at every level is deeply important to my identity... I do not believe that isolation is the way. There is a period of isolation that I do as a painter, but I deeply value the experience of being in relationships,” she stated.

When asked what his most recent "moment of bliss" was, Keanu responded it was with Alexandra, whom he referred to as "my honey." "We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together," he previously told PEOPLE.
