BTS's Jimin has made history with his first solo album 'FACE' by becoming the first Korean solo album to reach 2 billion streams on Spotify. As of April 23, 'FACE' has amassed a total of over 2.024 billion streams, marking a significant milestone in the global music scene.

'FACE', which consists of five vocal tracks and one instrumental, is a mini-album where Jimin personally participated in songwriting and composition. Achieving 2 billion streams within just 13 months of its release adds a profound significance to this record.

During its release, 'FACE' propelled Jimin to unprecedented heights as he became the first K-pop solo artist to top the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with the lead single 'Like Crazy'. Additionally, the pre-release track 'Set Me Free Pt.2' also entered the Hot 100, peaking at number 30, making it a rare feat for two tracks from a mini-album to chart simultaneously.

Jimin also achieved the highest debut for a K-pop solo artist on the Billboard 200 album chart, where 'FACE' debuted at number two. He simultaneously claimed the top spot on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, solidifying his status as a leading figure in the global music industry.

'FACE' is an album that reflects the myriad of emotions Jimin experienced during the pandemic, weaving these feelings into each track as he prepared for a new beginning. This album, marking his solo debut after ten years since his debut, earnestly focuses solely on his voice, enhancing the authenticity of his message.

The creation process, documented in 'Jimin's Production Diary', showcases Jimin working closely with three producers over ten months. This journey of defining the album's concept and crafting each track from scratch has received widespread acclaim from global media, including People magazine in the USA and the renowned British music magazine NME.

Moreover, Jimin's track 'Like Crazy' continues to make waves on the Billboard charts, ranking at number 191 on the Global 200 and number 141 on the Global 200 (Excl. US) as of April 27, maintaining a record-breaking 56-week continuous chart presence for a K-pop solo song. 'FACE' also holds a unique record as the longest-charting K-pop solo album on the Billboard World Albums chart, currently at number 12 for 50 consecutive weeks.
