Kris Jenner is starving herself, but the shrinking reality vixen refuses to quit drinking huge amounts of alcohol, according to a new report.
“Kris has slimmed down drastically. She skips meals all the time. But one thing she hasn’t cut back on is booze. She never goes a day without a few stiff drinks. She loves to joke about having an iron liver but there’s no way this is good for her,” an unnamed source told The National Enquirer.
According to the insider, Kris, 68, is consuming the sauce on an empty stomach and dieting excessively, raising concerns that she is causing havoc on her aging body.
“She claims she feels fine, but it’s got to be taking a huge toll on her. She looks dehydrated all the time, and she’s got terrible mood swings,” the informant added.
Kris has admitted to using alcohol to cope with the stress of raising and coaching her six famous children. In 2023, the tittering tippler spoke with daughter Kim Kardashian about the hardship of fatherhood and clucked, "Why do you think I had my vodka at 5 o'clock every day?"
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch even demonstrated her martini-making abilities in an instructive YouTube video. In a 2020 “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” confessional, daughter Khloé Kardashian complained about the juiced gal's gigglefest in California's wine country.
“This last winery is kind of our go-to whenever we come to Napa, so it’s tradition to stop by. My mom, every time so far, gets her drunkest at this winery,” Khloé said. “Clearly, they have amazing alcohol ’cause Kris is two sheets to the wind, as she would say,” she added. Concurring sibling Kim also concluded, “Wasted.”
The tipster went on to say that many in Kris' circle believe it's time for her to nip it while she can – for both her and their sakes.
Business Times has reached out to Kris Jenner for comments.
Meanwhile, Kris recently proclaimed that she will not be retiring from her life anytime soon. During an appearance on SiriusXM's “This Life of Mine with James Corden” program on May 9, the Kardashians star stated her mom, Mary Jo Campbell, retired when she was 82.
“She talks about her job every single day when we're together and she will say to me, 'Oh, my job kept me young and with purpose and with joy,’” Kris recounted.
The momager also reflected on her job. “It gives you all sorts of different qualities in your life. It's finding solutions for things. It's your organizational skills. It's your people skills. It's the love of life. It's having somewhere to go. Getting up, getting dressed, presenting yourself to the world a certain way, and interacting with the people that you love,” she said in a video uploaded by E! News on YouTube.
While discussing her role as a mediator between her daughters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, Kris said that the most recent little disagreement between Kourtney and Kim was not motivated by jealousy or a desire for the other to succeed.
“I think one just thought that the other was stepping on toes of a business relationship that was being established and it was a business thing. Sometimes I just have to have days because it does get intense, where I just go, ‘I know Kourtney, can you believe?’ and then you get on with Kim and you go, ‘Kim, I know Kourtney's crazy,’” Kris said.
Despite their fights, Kris revealed that her daughters always root for one another and wish the best for each other. The momager also revealed in “The Kardashians” Season 5 trailer, which debuted on May 8, that physicians discovered a cyst and what appeared to be a little tumor.
