The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has been spotted "out and about" more with her family in recent weeks, according to a report from the Mail Online, as she continues to receive treatment for her cancer diagnosis. The 42-year-old royal has maintained a low profile since her diagnosis in January, not carrying out any official royal duties this year.

While the palace has confirmed that Kate has been venturing out more frequently, they have stressed that she still requires time and space to recover. Kensington Palace's correspondence team revealed that they have been "so touched" by the outpouring of love and support shown to the Princess since news of her health woes came to light, with the palace reportedly inundated with "tens of thousands" of get-well-soon cards for the mother of three.

The volume of letters and well wishes sent to the royal has made it difficult for the correspondence team to sort through it all, but the Daily Mail reports that all writers will receive a response.

The latest update on Kate's well-being comes as royal insiders have suggested that a "wounded" Prince William could have to face a second book from his brother, Prince Harry. Royal author Robert Hardman said there is still a "trust issue" between Harry and the rest of his family, as he "gave away so many secrets" in his memoir, "Spare," which was released last year.

Hardman added that because the book covers Harry's wedding in only five pages, he believes "part two might be on its way," potentially causing further strain on the already tense relationship between the brothers.

Last week, royal insiders claimed that Kate may "not appear in public for the rest of the year" as she continues her chemotherapy treatment. "Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance. I am told that Kate's diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year," a royal source told The Daily Beast.

The insider noted that the palace is aware that a prolonged absence could lead to further speculation about the princess's condition, but suggested that another video message updating the country on her health could be an effective way to keep conspiracy theorists at bay.

In a pre-recorded video statement on March 22, Princess Catherine revealed that doctors discovered her cancer during a planned abdominal surgery in January and that she is now in the early stages of "a course of preventative chemotherapy."

Kate is not the only royal currently dealing with health issues. King Charles III, 75, revealed his cancer diagnosis in February, while Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, announced her battle with an aggressive skin cancer in January.

As the Princess of Wales continues to focus on her recovery, the public eagerly awaits updates on her condition and hopes for her swift return to royal duties. The outpouring of support from well-wishers across the globe serves as a testament to the affection and respect the public holds for the beloved royal.

Meanwhile, the potential for a second book from Prince Harry looms over the royal family, with Prince William reportedly feeling "wounded" and concerned about the further revelations his brother may share. As the royal family navigates these challenging times, the focus remains on supporting Kate and ensuring that she receives the time and space necessary for her recovery.
