Despite a surprising revelation that his friends are worried about the actor as he prepares to divorce Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck has not fallen off the wagon, a new report claimed.

He has not relapsed and is still completely sober, according to a source who spoke to In Touch Magazine. Ben, who is 51 years old, is not drinking again.

There was a rumor that circulated this week that stated Ben's buddies were worried that the star of The Accountant had returned to his old vices. Ben is "at risk" of picking up the bottle, according to a spokesperson for an outlet who claims to be Ben's friend. One of our sources said that this is not accurate, and Ben is in good health.

Ben has been struggling with alcohol for a number of years. As a result of his alcohol problem, he finished his first treatment program in the year 2001. One more time, in 2017, he checked in.

Following Ben's return to drinking over the course of the following year, his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Garner organized an intervention. The sight of photographs of alcoholic beverages being brought to Ben's residence prompted her to take action.

During the year 2020, Ben disclosed that he was an alcoholic.

“The older I’ve gotten, the more I recognize that my dad did the best he could. There’s a lot of alcoholism and mental illness in my family. The legacy of that is quite powerful and sometimes hard to shake. It took me a long time to fundamentally, deeply, without a hint of doubt, admit to myself that I am an alcoholic. The next drink will not be different,” the “Batman” star stated.

This comes at a time when Ben and Jennifer, who is 54 years old, have been on the verge of ending their relationship, with insiders claiming that the two are on the verge of getting a divorce.

According to the informants, Ben moved out of the Beverly Hills home that they had acquired for sixty million dollars and into a rented pad. Only one year after the transaction was finalized, the two are already making efforts to sell the property in a stealthy manner.

Jennifer was reportedly willing to do everything in order to save her marriage, a tipster told CheatSheet.

“Jennifer is doing anything in her power to control this situation, unpleasant as it is. She’s going to the kids’ events to show Ben that things haven’t changed for her, she’s still his wife, she loves him no matter what, and she loves his kids like they were her own,” the mole shared.

In order to devote more time to her family, Jennifer even decided to call off her “This Is Me... Live Tour,” which had a miserable performance in terms of ticket sales.

“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” Jennifer told fans in her announcement about the tour.

For several weeks, Ben and Jennifer have been observed attending a variety of events for their children, and they have appeared to be in a state of tension. A snitch asserted that the divorce petition is about to be filed, despite Jennifer's efforts to prevent it.
