On the day that she turned 18 years old, May 27, Shiloh Pitt, the daughter of Brad Pitt, made her sentiments for her famous father painfully obvious by filing a petition in court to have his last name erased.

Vivienne, Brad's other daughter, who is 15 years old, declined to use his name in the playbill for the new Broadway show "The Outsiders," which she coproduced. This dramatic choice happened just a few weeks after it was reported that she had the decision to do so. When they were attending a sorority initiation event at Spelman College in November of last year, their older sister Zahara, who was 19 at the time, introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie.

It would appear that the writing is on the wall with regard to Brad's relationship with the six children that he shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, who is 49 years old. Additionally, the furious ex-couple are the parents to Maddox, who is 22 years old, Pax, who is 20 years old, and Knox, who is Vivienne's twin brother. They continue to be embroiled in legal disputes over their French winery, Chateau Miraval, nearly seven years after their having divorced.

“It’s a classic case of parental alienation,” an unnamed source told Star Magazine.

Brad, however, has a glimpse of optimism. According to the insider, the 60-year-old actor is considering beginning a new family with his girlfriend of more than a year, Ines de Ramon, who is a jewelry designer and works at the age of thirty-four.

The informant said Brad yearns for a second opportunity to become a father. This time around, he is a completely different person than he was before.

When Brad learned, at the same time as the rest of the world, that his first biological kid had chosen to remove the hyphenated "Pitt" from her surname, he was taken aback and completely unprepared for something like this, In Touch Weekly reported.

“Given the cold climate between him and Shiloh’s mother, he suspects Angelina had a hand in this. The days after Shiloh’s birth in Namibia were some of the happiest days in Brad’s life. He’s deeply hurt and is also troubled that Vivienne and Zahara stopped using his name. It’s clear Angelina is twisting the knife,” the tipster said.

All of Brad's efforts to make amends have been unsuccessful up to this point. “He’s tried to rebuild relationships with all his children, and will continue to try. He hopes things will change over time when the kids are not so heavily influenced by Angelina,” the mole shared.

“Ines is a breath of fresh air for Brad. With her, there’s no drama. She works with a lot of celebrities in her jewelry business but isn’t a celeb herself. And she doesn’t want to be,” the snitch added.

According to the snitch, Brad is now prepared to have a fresh start, and the two have even discussed the possibility of getting married in Europe during the summer.

“They’re not going to waste time with a long engagement, There’s a bit of urgency with this because Brad is very eager to have a child with Ines and she wants a proper commitment first. As soon as they tie the knot, the first priority will be having a baby,” the naysayer said.
