Jennifer Lopez did not post a tribute to Ben Affleck on social media on the occasion of their second wedding anniversary, despite the strains that have been placed on their marriage. On the other hand, she continued to maintain her silence on Instagram on Tuesday, July 16, when she was away from her spouse for the day, a new report claimed.

On the occasion of the anniversary of her and Ben's wedding in Las Vegas, Jennifer, who is 54 years old, was in the Hamptons. People took pictures of her while she was riding a bike throughout town. In contrast, Ben, who is 51 years old, was seen strolling about Los Angeles while wearing his wedding ring and dressed in a black suit.

The Oscar winner made her most recent appearance on Jennifer's Instagram page on March 2, when she released a video clip of the two of them having a conversation in the documentary that she produced for Prime Video titled “The Greatest Love Story Never Told” to her followers, Life & Style Magazine reported. Up until that point, she had uploaded a commercial for Dunkin' Donuts that they had filmed together for the Super Bowl in February.

Ben and Jennifer had gotten engaged three months before their elopement, which took place on July 16, 2022 in Las Vegas. Almost immediately after the singer of "Waiting for Tonight" ended her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, who had previously played in the Major League Baseball, the couple reconciled in April 2021.

During their initial relationship, Ben and Jennifer had the intention of getting married in September 2003. However, they decided to put off the wedding at the very last minute, and they ended their relationship in January 2004.

During the time of their wedding, which took place at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Jennifer shown an incredible amount of self-assurance in their relationship and optimism over her future with Ben.

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” the “Hustlers” actress wrote on her OnTheJLo newsletter.

“So, with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives. They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end, it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last,” the “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker furthered.

The following month, on August 20, 2022, the couple celebrated their wedding with a spectacular ceremonial ceremony that was attended by relatives and friends at Ben's house in Georgia. Jennifer attended the opulent wedding and reception while wearing three breathtaking gowns designed by Ralph Lauren.

As was the case with their initial romantic encounter in the early 2000s, Ben rapidly found himself uneasy about his wife's need to be in the highlight of attention. In public appearances and paparazzi photographs, the “Batman” star began to appear increasingly miserable. Jennifer, who was often smiling and ready for the camera, was the subject of these photographs.

Within the context of Jennifer's documentary, the actor who played “Gone Girl” made it clear how unhappy he felt. “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of, like, you’re going to marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t want the water.’ We’re trying to learn to compromise,” Ben previously divulged.

“I don’t think [Ben] is very comfortable with me doing this, [but] he doesn’t want to stop me,” Jennifer added in her documentary, where she publicly shared his private love letters to her over the years.

By May, Ben had moved out of the couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills estate. On July 11, the mansion was publicly listed for sale with a price tag of $68 million.

“The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly on May 15.

The star of "Argo" is currently residing in a rented home in Brentwood, California, that costs $100,000 per month. This home is located close to the residence of Jennifer Garner, the ex-wife of the actor, and their three children. Jennifer Lopez, for her part, made the announcement on May 31 that her "This Is Me Now... The Greatest Hits" summer tour would be canceled. This announcement came in the midst of a crisis in their marriage.

“Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” she said in a statement at the time. It was announced by Live Nation, the promoter, that the singer would be canceling the tour in order to take "time off to be with her children, family, and close friends."

Ben and Jennifer had maintained their distance from one another over the entire summer. It was in June when she went on a trip to the Italian Riviera by herself. During her travel, she went to several of the same locations that the Maid in Manhattan star had visited during her romantic holiday with Ben in the summer of 2021. Even more, Jennifer went to the same restaurant in Nerano, Italy, where she had previously enjoyed a supper with Ben that was packed with public displays of affection.

Although Jennifer had returned from her trip to Italy, Ben continued to reside in Los Angeles. Jennifer, on the other hand, started in New York. She went to the Hamptons with her manager, Benny Medina, and her vocal coach, Stevie Mackey, to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend.

As all was going on, Ben was in Los Angeles with his children for the holiday. His daughter, Violet Affleck, vacationed in The Hamptons with her stepmother on July 13, at which time they went to an antiques fair. The following day, they were caught walking hand in hand to lunch, which was two days before Ben and Jennifer celebrated their wedding anniversary.
