A social media post that Donald Trump tweeted insinuated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) either knew about or was complicit in the attempt on his life that occurred on July 13.

Late on Monday night, the troubled former president took to his Truth Social platform to publish a picture of Christopher Wray, the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the following caption: "WHAT DID YOU KNOW AND WHEN DID YOU KNOW ABOUT IT? RETRUTH IF YOU WANT TO KNOW WHO ORDERED THE ASSASSINATION OF DONALD J TRUMP.”

At a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, twenty-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks shot multiple rounds into the audience, as was previously reported by OK! Magazine. Another civilian was killed by a bullet, and it is reported that one bullet hit Trump in the ear.

Despite the fact that it was later found out that Crooks was a registered Republican, very little is known about the motivation behind his attack. Within a few seconds of the rounds being fired, the would-be assassin was "neutralized" by the Secret Service.

Wray, on the other hand, stated in a later statement that it was uncertain whether or not Trump was genuinely wounded by a bullet.

“There’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear. I don’t know whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have also landed somewhere else,” he said at a hearing on the assassination attempt.

On July 25, former president Donald Trump took to social media to complain about how the director of the FBI was "wrong."

"That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments — with zero retribution. No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard,” the ex-POTUS penned.

"There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a 'bullet wound to the ear,' and that is what it was. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!" Trump went on.

After some time had passed, the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a statement stating that the controversial politician had been injured by a bullet in the upper portion of his ear.

“I assume that’s the best apology that we’ll get from Director Wray, but it is fully accepted,” Trump then wrote via Truth Social.
