There is yet another indication that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are on the verge of terminating their marriage. It was observed that Jennifer was wearing the engagement ring that Ben had given her, a new report claimed. The sole issue was that the vocalist of "Let's Get Loud" was wearing it on the wrong hand—that was the only problem.
On Thursday, August 1, Jennifer, who is 55 years old, was being photographed when she was out and about in New York City. She was wearing a floral dress and red heels with straps. She completed the ensemble with a red pocketbook that matched the appearance, and the photographs that were distributed by Page Six displayed the yellow-green diamond that was glittering on her right hand.
On the other hand, Ben, who is 51 years old, has been staying on the other coast in California, while Jennifer has been enjoying her summer in New York. On July 21, the "Hustlers" star's 55th birthday party was attended by Ben, who was obviously absent. This was something that she did not anticipate happening.
“Jennifer knew better, but a part of her was still hoping that he would show up. Some of the guests thought so, too,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
The "Good Will Hunting" star, for his part, was seen running errands in Los Angeles on the same day that Jennifer was throwing her celebration, and he was not wearing his wedding band throughout the entire time.
“Ben’s absence was definitely noticed. While it was the elephant in the room, no one dared to ask the birthday girl about it,” the anonymous insider revealed to the entertainment news outlet.
Jen's summer was not going according to plan, a separate informant told the magazine in an exclusive interview. The two actors, who appeared in "Gigli," did not even celebrate their second wedding anniversary together on July 16, and neither of them acknowledged the day on any of their social media platforms.
“It’s just depressing that Ben couldn’t find the time or inclination to be there and support Jennifer. She would have welcomed it. Jennifer’s been putting on a brave face through it all. She never expected to be spending her summer alone. This isn’t where she thought she’d be at this point in her life,” the tipster stated.
The mole, on the other hand, said that Ben was taking a break from his relationship with Jennifer thanks to their agreement to spend the summer apart. In fact, Ben was even avoiding phone calls from Jennifer.
“He’s at a point now where a phone call from Jennifer is an intrusion on his personal space. Harsh as it sounds. Ben wants out of the marriage. He’s just biding his time and getting things in order before he makes the official break. Chances are, he’ll do the gentlemanly thing and let Jennifer file first. Ben’s allowing Jennifer time to be on her own and feels that he’s been set free," the spy said.
There have been speculations that the "I'm Real" artist's love of spotlight is one of the factors that is driving the breach in their marriage. Rumors that Ben and Jennifer’s marriage is on the rocks have been circulating for months. In Jennifer's most recent documentary, "The Greatest Love Story Never Told," audiences were able to observe the Argo star visibly squirm when she revealed some of his secret love letters to her.
“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media.’ We’re just two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise,” Ben said in the movie.
