President Joe Biden is laughing off the most recent rants that Donald Trump has made.
CNN's Kaitlan Collins posed a question to President Trump on Monday, August 19, just a few minutes before the start of the Democratic National Convention. Collins wanted to know the president's thoughts on Trump's assertions that Democrats had orchestrated a "vicious coup" in order to remove him from his position as president of the United States.
"Donald Trump claims that you were pushed out from the top of the ticket...What do you make of those claims?" Kaitlan asked. "His stability is still questionable,” Biden responded.
This comes just a few hours after former president Trump, who is 78 years old, embarked on a series of rants in which he repeated the unsubstantiated assertion that Vice President Kamala Harris and other prominent Democrats organized "the first ever 'coup' in America."
"Crooked Joe Biden was told, 'Sorry Joe, you’re losing to Trump, BIG, and you can’t beat him — You’re Fired. So now, for the first time in American history, I’ll have to beat TWO Candidates, the second being a Radical Left Marxist, Comrade Kamala Harris,” Trump insisted in a message posted to Truth Social.
"It’s not fair, perhaps even another form of Election Interference, but the good news is that she should be easier to beat than Crooked Joe in that the USA will never allow itself to become a Communist Country," the former POTUS went on.
Trump also referred to Harris as a "Marxist," a "communist," and a "STONE COLD LOSER" who will "FAIL" in the election that will take place in 2024. "If she doesn’t [fail], our Country will cease to exist as we know it, turning into a Communist, Crime Ridden Garbage Dump. November 5th will be the Most Important Date in the History of the U.S.A. It’s as simple as that!" Trump continued.
As was previously reported by OK! Magazine, President Biden withdrew from his candidacy in late July and promptly endorsed his vice president. This decision came after he was subjected to months of criticism and scary conjecture surrounding his health.
"I revere this office, but I love my country more. I’ve decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. It’s the best way to unite our nation,” Biden said in a July 24 statement.
