Pax Thien Jolie, who is Angelina Jolie's son, cannot expect to make a speedy recovery from his injury, a new report claimed. After crashing his electric bicycle into a car on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles on July 30, the young man, who is now 20 years old, was recently discharged from the intensive care unit.
“He’s out of the ICU but not out of the woods. Pax suffered serious head trauma and a hip injury, so he has a long way to go yet,” an unnamed source told Star Magazine.
Pax, who had already collaborated with his mother on the film "Without Blood," was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and those who witnessed it were concerned that he had passed away. “He was hit on the head. His month was filled with blood,” a witness named Lola Cavalli told one news outlet.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the riders who are not wearing helmets are responsible for the bulk of the 80,000 head injuries that are associated with riding, as well as 54 percent of the fatalities that occur among cyclists.
“Pax banged up. Doctors determined he had a minor brain bleed and a hip injury. He’ll have to do lots of physical therapy to get back to where he was,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet, adding that Angelina was frantic.
“Head injuries are so scary, but she had to be brave for his sake. She stayed by his side during the whole ordeal,” the informant went on.
Even as the emergency was in progress, Angelina's acrimonious divorce from Brad Pitt threw a shadow on the situation. In an online post that has since been removed, Pax, who is estranged from his father, referred to the Hollywood actor, who is sixty years old, as "a world-class a**hole." In addition, over the past few weeks, a number of his children have removed the addition of "Pitt" from their surnames.
“Brad has tried to reach Pax, but Pax won’t take his calls. All Brad can do is wait and worry on his own. He’s deeply concerned and heartbroken,” the tipster stated.
