Fans have been having a difficult time coming to terms with the fact that Bennifer 2.0 is drawing to a conclusion for several months. Divorce papers have been filed, single-girl Instagram carousels have been released, and the Matt Damon interview about this is already completed. However, all it takes to undo everything is a one brunch that is extremely pricey.
To those who believed that the love story between J.Lo and Ben had come to an end when she eventually filed for divorce, you might be mistaken. A fellow guest at The Beverly Hills Hotel witnessed the couple "kissing" and snuggling in the middle of the day, contributing to the resurgence of the rumor mill. This occurred several weeks after the couple made their decision to make their relationship official.
“Ben and J.Lo are currently at the Polo Lounge holding hands and kissing. The kids are with them," a source said of the actor, 52, and the singer, 55, while another added, "[Ben] could not keep his hands off" his ex. An insider confirms to Woman's Day Magazine, "They're still in lust and the chemistry will always be off the charts."
Reports that Ben and J.Lo were kissing while the children were "with them, but at a separate table" were allegedly received by Woman's Day Magazine in real-time. However, fans should take this with a grain of salt.
There was no photographic evidence of the claimed kissing, but photographs were taken of the two of them having a talk in the car that appeared to be highly tense before they went inside.
At the time, J.Lo was adorned with a "Jennifer" ring on her ring finger and her wedding ring on her pinkie finger. Nevertheless, they were walking in a manner that was visibly close to one another, and in one amazing picture, Ben looks to be leaning close to J.Lo while holding a Coca-Cola can in his hand and mumbling something in her ear that may be either extremely angry or incredibly ordinary.
Her twins Max and Emme, who are 16 years old, were seen by her side at the brunch date, along with Ben's children Fin, who is 15 years old, and Samuel, who is 12 years old. According to her friends, J.Lo has been concentrating on assisting their blended family in getting through the breakup. While everything is going on, a source said that the sole purpose of the gathering was "so the kids could hang out."
Tabloids don't appear to be falling into the notion that Bennifer is suddenly getting back together. Bennifer is "still moving forward with the divorce" and "working out financial details amicably," according to a source.
It would appear that J.Lo is "happy seeing the kids happy together," and that "happy kids are her priority." The scenario would be consistent with numerous sightings of Bennifer that have occurred over the past few months.
These sightings have primarily occurred at the celebrations of the children's birthdays and graduations, and both Ben and J.Lo have been seen looking miserable through them.
In spite of this, it appears that nobody can entirely agree on what took place. Following its initial description of both parties as "pretty frigid" and "frustrated to be there," TMZ retracted its own account of the events that transpired. It would appear that at this point, their sources are asserting that there was "some PDA," but that it was "more to show the kids that they're getting along," and that the divorce is still going on.
