Selena Gomez, a singer-actress, reminisced about an embarrassing and stressful moment she experienced with Sean "Diddy" Combs while she was still dating Justin Bieber.

The 32-year-old disclosed to GQ Magazine that he once mistakenly identified her as a valet.

The actress from "The Only Murders in the Building," who recently disclosed her infertility struggles and shared a tender moment with her co-star Martin Short at the Emmys, recounted to Zach Baron, the interviewer: "[...] When Diddy gave me his valet ticket once, do you know what I mean?"

Baron, perplexed, requested clarification, which prompted Gomez to provide it: "Because he thought I was the valet lady!"

Gomez maintained her composure, dismissing the incident with a chuckle and acknowledging the absurdity of fame: "Look, I see all of it. I don't care, I actually laughed hysterically when it happened, but I get it. I know what all of it is."

Bieber, Gomez's erstwhile romantic partner from 2009 to 2018, maintained cordial relationships with Diddy, particularly during the latter's formative years.

In September 2023, they even collaborated on a recording titled "Moments," which achieved chart success.
Nevertheless, reports indicate that Bieber is profoundly disturbed by the accusations, as insiders have disclosed the pop star's dismay in response to recent, severe allegations against Diddy.

"Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it, so he has shut off. So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him."

Justin, who has recently become a father with his wife Hailey Bieber, is also reevaluating his collaboration with Diddy on his most recent album, according to the source.

The Daily Star also reports that Bieber has taken a "long break" from interacting with the rapper, according to reports.

Diddy was detained in New York City on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, and he has been denied bail on numerous occasions.

The rapper has maintained his innocence, as his attorney has stated: "I believe he’s innocent of the charges, and he is going to go to trial, and I believe he’s going to win."

Past footage of Diddy with a young Bieber has resurfaced, causing many of Bieber's followers to feel uneasy. This has led a number of social media users to describe Diddy's previous comments to a younger Bieber as "creepy." Diddy is currently incarcerated at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Centre.
