The tyrannical catwalk queen Tyra Banks is reportedly attempting to reform her ways, according to sources who claim that pregnancy and a vacation from the spotlight have helped the monster become more acquiescent.
Having dominated toxic conditions at "America's Next Top Model" and "Dancing with the Stars," Tyra, now 50 years old, has become one of the most reviled women in television, The Independent reported.
On the other hand, a source claims that she has "changed" a year after she quit “Dancing With the Stars” and became a full-time mother to York, who is eight years old. York is the son that she shares with her ex-boyfriend Erik Asla.
Even though Tyra does not frequently write about her son on social media, she has mentioned that he is developing into a brilliant young man. To be more specific, he is already fluent in three languages.
"During her TV work, Tyra sometimes looked like she relished delivering bad news or just lording over contestants with whatever authority she had," an insider told The National Enquirer. "But motherhood, and this long break from Hollywood, has really changed her. She's learned to shut down that hard edge she had as a TV host and become a real human being around her family and close friends."
According to a report published in 2021 by the National Enquirer, participants and staff members of the two reality competitions openly criticized Tyra, who denied any involvement.
Lisa D'Amato, a former model-in-waiting, has accused Tyra of engaging in psychological abuse toward her on “America's Next Top Model” by taking advantage of her "childhood traumas."
While this was happening, several competitors who had previously competed in the show addressed the terrible treatment they received from Tyra and the producers, as per The Hollywood Reporter. In response to the severity of the outcry, even Tyra recognized that she had gone too far during her lengthy run on the show.
"Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ANTM moments, and I agree with you," she confessed on social media.
Despite this, the diva failed to change her poor behaviors during her three-year stay on “Dancing With the Stars.”
"Tyra's done a lot of soul searching, and she's way better off for it," the insider declared. "It's a little late in life to discover true humility, but motherhood has finally turned Tyra into a truly self-aware person."
