Another royal baby is expected soon! The news of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's second pregnancy was announced by Buckingham Palace in early April. The royal pair has a 3-year-old daughter named Sienna and coparent Edoardo’s 8-year-old son named Wolfie with his ex-fiancée, Dara Huang.
“They are so excited to be growing their family, but Sienna is probably the most thrilled. She wants a little sister to dote on. Beatrice has had to remind her that she could very well be getting another brother, though!” an unnamed source close to Princess Beatrice told Life & Style Magazine.
According to the anonymous insider, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo, who are both 40 years old, are overjoyed about their second pregnancy. Everyone in the royal family is ecstatic at the good news.
The palace has told her uncle, King Charles III, and both families are delighted with the news. Princess Beatrice's unborn child will take Princess Eugenie's position as eleventh in line to the crown, relegating her to twelveth.
"Becoming a granny again fills my heart with so much happiness and gratitude," the princess's mother, Sarah Ferguson, wrote on social media.
For the royal family, the arrival of a new baby is a blessing in disguise. Not only has Prince Andrew, Beatrice's dad, been accused of sex trafficking, but numerous members of the royal family have been fighting cancer, such as Charles, Princess Kate Middleton, and Bea's mom. The rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, his wife, continues unabated.
“Bea’s announcement couldn’t have come at a better time. It’s given people hope and a reason to smile,” the undisclosed informant shared.
Meanwhile, PEOPLE Magazine reported that Buckingham Palace's notification of Princess Beatrice's pregnancy contained an unusual error.
As per HELLO, Buckingham Palace's initial post on X was deleted due to a small error. Despite being officially known as Her Royal Highness (HRH), Princess Beatrice was first referred to as "Her Royal Highes," a mistake that the publication was able to capture in screenshots.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna. His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news," the corrected statement said.
The announcement was accompanied by two updated family portraits of Princess Beatrice. In the opening scene, Beatrice and Edo, both in their forties, were seen casually hugging one other. With her red velvet hairband pulled back, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson grinned into the camera while her loving husband of four years, sporting a black baseball cap, peered lovingly at her.
