At a campaign rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 9, Donald Trump demonstrated some new dance moves, but not everyone found them impressive.

In a video shared on X, which was previously known as Twitter, the 78-year-old former president was seen swaying clumsily on stage as "God Bless the USA" was played.

A critic who witnessed the campaign event joked, "Trump has two dance moves: 1. The double jerk 2. Whatever this is."

Other users participated in naming the new dance, which ranged from "the unbalanced felon" and "the teeter-totter" to "the dashboard hula girl" and "the Frankenstein shuffle."

Another individual likened the movements to a "drunk great aunt at the end of the wedding whilst other guests place bets on how long she’ll stay upright for."

This is not the first instance of Trump being ridiculed for his inadequate dancing abilities. The former president of the United States hosted a "remembrance event" at his Doral Golf Club in Florida on Monday, October 7, to commemorate the lives of the individuals who were murdered in the October 2023 Hamas attacks, Miami Herald reported.

Nevertheless, critics criticized the 78-year-old for imbuing the somber event with a celebratory atmosphere when he performed his characteristic fist-pump to the Village People's "Y.M.C.A." on stage.

A user on X stated, "The Trump campaign turned a solemn remembrance into a disco party. Not one of them is well. It’s painful to watch."

A second individual replied, "I just got home from an October 7th remembrance event. We sang Hatikvah, said prayers, listened to the words of hostage family members, and chanted the Mourner's Kaddish. Oddly enough, they weren't playing 70s disco music. #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice."

As previously reported by OK! Magazine, Trump also encountered criticism for asserting that Vice President Kamala Harris had fabricated information regarding her summer employment at McDonald's during his rally in Pennsylvania on Wednesday.

"You have lyin' Kamala. She lies about everything, including where she worked, remember? 'I worked so hard at McDonald's, it was unbelievable,'" he told his supporters, mocking Harris' statements. "She said she worked like a dog in McDonald's and it never happened. She didn't work there. She’s a no good liar."

McDonald's has not issued a public statement regarding Harris' employment with the fast-food chain, as validated by fact-checkers, as per USA Today. However, this has not prevented Trump from reiterating the allegations at numerous recent campaign events.
