Since their first meeting in 2018, Melania Trump and the late Queen Elizabeth II have seemed to have gotten along well.

Melania Trump's new memoir details not just her honest opinions on issues like immigration and abortion but also her wholesome relationship with Queen Elizabeth and the current ties that she and her husband, Donald Trump, have with the British Royal Family, as per The Guardian.

The ex-first lady talked about how she and Donald had visited Buckingham Palace in 2019 following their Japan tour.

There was a royal reception for Melania and Donald at Her Majesty's offices, where they were "graciously poured tea and offered scones with jam," as she recounts in her biography.

Melania went on and on about how she and the late Queen "had truly connected" and how "delighted to have the opportunity to see her again" they met again.

During her "truly unforgettable" visit, the former fashion model met King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and she praised the experience.

As a result, she mentioned an esteemed occasion when "a sudden gust of wind ruffled my hat" while she was waiting to enter Buckingham Palace.

"I quickly grabbed at it to hold it in place and shared an unrestrained moment of laughter with the Queen and the Duchess," Melania wrote. "It was a lighthearted and spontaneous moment in an otherwise formal and dignified occasion," the former FLOTUS added, referring to the innocent mishap.

Reminiscing about her "cherished" friendship with the late Queen, Melania described a "particularly memorable" present she had received from her.

It was a "specially commissioned silver box, with an enamel lid that features images of the rose, thistle, and shamrock, echoing the intricate ceiling motifs of Buckingham Palace’s music room."

The Queen's untimely demise in 2022 meant she could not accept the Trumps' invitation to visit.

"Our friendship with the Royal Family continues, and we exchange letters with King Charles to this day,” Melania said.

The ex-FLOTUS also divulged that she still questions the 2020 election results, Daily Express reported.

"But the media, Big Tech, and the deep state were all determined to prevent Donald's re-election, by any means necessary," Melania said while discussing her husband's 2020 presidential campaign, adding that she was hopeful about his chances.

Melania acknowledged that she was pessimistic about the election because she “was worried the election would be unfair."

The former model recalled being in her room in the White House with her son Barron on election night, watching the results. Before Fox News predicted that Biden would win Arizona, everything seemed to be swimmingly.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Melania said in her memoir. “How could they call it so early before all the votes were counted? It was another sign that this was not a normal election,” she added.

The projection infuriated the right, with Trump’s team insisting it was unfair, with Fox's call later becoming a reality.

Melania Trump’s memoir, "Melania," published by Skyhorse, is available Oct. 8 wherever books are sold.
