The 78-year-old former president Donald Trump came under fire on Friday, October 11, when he called off his rally in Nevada because a placard was blocking his teleprompter.

"Thank god I don't use teleprompters," declared Donald Trump. "A sign fell on top of it," he said, removing the sign from the screen.

Many people reacted negatively to the video, pointing out how ironic it was for the Republican to claim he doesn't use technology when he couldn't carry out the event without it, as per The Independent.

One individual questioned, “Why would you have a teleprompter set up if you didn't use a teleprompter?” Another said, “Compulsive lying is second nature to #MAGA.”

A third said, “Just once I wish every rally attendee would get up and walk out when Trump tells an outrageous lie,” as a fourth person mocked, “What a shambling orange mess.”

As previously reported by OK! Magazine, the teleprompter scandal was the catalyst for Trump's falsehoods. On Friday, October 11, he posted a troubling message asserting that November 5, Election Day, will mark "Liberation Day" for the United States.

Trump repeated his promises to "hunt down" and deport illegal immigrants if he wins the 2024 election in the tweet, which were made during his rally in Colorado.

"We are now known, all throughout the world, as OCCUPIED AMERICA...But to everyone here in Colorado and all across our nation, I make you this vow: November 5th, 2024, will be LIBERATION DAY in America," the convicted felon said. "I will rescue Aurora and every town that has been invaded and conquered—and we will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail or kick them the h--- OUT OF OUR COUNTRY."

The divisive politician claimed he would "invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to target and dismantle every migrant criminal network operating on American Soil" and "expedite removals" of persons in Colorado through the implementation of "Operation Aurora" at the federal level.

"No person who has inflicted the violence and terror that Kamala Harris has inflicted on this community can EVER be allowed to become POTUS!" the father of five finished by making reference to his opponent, a Democrat, The Washington Post reported.

In a subsequent upload, the former reality TV star promised to deploy "elite squads of ICE, border patrol, and federal law enforcement officers to hunt down, arrest, and deport every last illegal alien gang member, until there is not a single one left."

After being found guilty of sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll, the businessman demanded the death penalty for "any migrant that kills an American citizen or a law enforcement officer" and said that anyone who returned to the United States would face "automatic 10 years in jail with no possibility of parole."

"We will close the border. We will stop the invasion of illegals into our Country. We will defend our territory. We will not be conquered. We will reclaim our sovereignty—and Colorado will vote for Trump as a protest and signal to the world that we are not going to take it anymore. I will liberate Colorado. I will give you back your freedom and your life!" he wrote as he concluded.

Many responded to his remarks by pointing out that Adolf Hitler had spoken about "liberating Germany" while he was in power and that Trump was "deeper and deeper into fascist rhetoric" area.
