Since many weeks ago, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been entirely intentional in their separation of professional endeavors. While Prince Harry has been traveling to far-flung locations, Meghan Markle has been staying in California to attend events in the entertainment industry.
It is evident that Prince Harry is overjoyed with the arrangement, as he boasted to those who attended the recent WellChild Awards in the United Kingdom that his "wonderful" wife was "holding the fort" at home with their two children and three dogs who were "not quite house-trained," as per BBC.
However, Meghan, who is 49 years old, is not entirely content with their new way of life and has been making frantic phone calls to her spouse to get him back to the family home. According to sources who spoke to New Idea Magazine, it is "getting increasingly difficult" for Meghan to survive without her husband.
This is especially true considering Prince Archie, who is five years old, has just recently started attending "big kid school." Prince Harry, who is forty years old, has been absent for more than two weeks.
"She's juggling so many plates at once and effectively raising Archie and [Princess] Lilibet as a single mum while he's off on his travels," a source told New Idea Magazine.
The fact that Harry is so obviously doing well by attending engagements and meetings by himself in London, New York, and Africa is making things even more difficult for Meghan, The New York Post reported. Onlookers have observed that Meghan has appeared "lost" without Harry on a recent red carpet appearance.
"He seems to be having no problems adjusting ... and by all accounts it's freaking her out, and has her questioning if agreeing to separate working lives was a good idea," the insider added.
Meghan is reportedly lamenting that she was the driving reason behind a plan to split their commercial potential.
A source close to the situation stated that she has been pleading with him to reduce his trips and find a way to return home. She has some respect for Prince Harry's need to conduct business away from home, but not to this extent.
They are now familiar with what it is like to lead different lifestyles, something they have experienced recently. In addition, the informant continued by saying that Meghan does not like it in the slightest, regardless of how committed she believes both of them are to the long-term success of the marriage.
