Brad Pitt is delighted to have reconnected with his former wife, Jennifer Aniston, and her co-star, Courteney Cox, more than two decades after he guest-starred on Friends. Brad is now arranging double dates with his girlfriend, Ines De Ramon, and her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid, leaving Courteney's best friend, Jennifer, out in the cold, a new report claimed.

“Brad and Courteney became very close friends when he was married to Jen; they used to hang out all the time. That stopped once he left Jen for Angelina, but the last few years, they’ve picked up right where they left off," an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.

In 1998, the actor from "Wolfs" (60) began dating Jen. Brad and Angelina Jolie were married from 2000 until their highly publicized divorce in 2005, which Brad allegedly initiated by falling for his "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" costar and now-ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, 49.

The tipster claimed that Courteney, 60, may have caused her best friend some embarrassment by reestablishing a cordial relationship with the iconic heartthrob Justin Theroux despite the fact that Jen would eventually move on with her own now-ex-husband. The two were photographed together smiling and conversing at the Rock4EB fundraiser on September 21.

The insider asserted that Courteney is respectful and would not have resumed the friendship without Jen's approval. Brad and Jen reconnected following his divorce from Angelina, and she granted her close companions permission to reintegrate him into their lives.

However, this does not diminish the extent to which Jen has been deeply wounded and betrayed. The current issue is that Brad is on a mission to engage in multiple encounters.

In 2013, the "Friends" alum encountered her partner, a member of Snow Patrol, at a house party she hosted. While adoring her partner, she confided in PEOPLE Magazine.

“He’s a great advice-giver. I love his heart, his intentions. His morals. He’s extremely talented and obviously musical, but he’s a poet and a writer. He’s just so smart, and I find that really sexy. And then he is gorgeous,” she said of Johnny, 48.

The Irish musician is equally devoted to his A-list girlfriend and maintains a close relationship with her daughter, Coco, whom she shares with her former spouse, David Arquette.

“She’s my best friend. She’s my partner, in everything. When I write her poems, it’s just an extension of how I feel every second anyway.”

Brad also appeared to develop feelings for the sensitive musician in his bromantic manner, as per E! Online. According to the source, the "Troy" actor has "become acquainted with Johnny and has formed a strong bond with him, and of course, he is extremely fond of Courteney."

However, Jen is not as amenable to the foursome's new friendship as she had anticipated when she permitted all her peers to resume socializing with Brad.

The informant disclosed that it was a highly awkward situation. Courteney cannot prohibit Johnny from participating in these dinner arrangements or spending time with him, and Jen is too proud to object. Brad has once again demonstrated his lack of sensitivity and awareness, which has caused her the most anger. However, Courteney is not entirely blameless.
