Ryan Seacrest is in awe of his own "American Idol" Carrie Underwood, and is making such a fuss over the blonde singer, a new report claimed. The sources explained that her fellow judges, Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and other show team members wish that Seacrest would take a chill pill.
According to reliable sources, the television mogul, who is 49 years old, has made it his mission to ensure that the forty-one-year-old "Before He Cheats" songbird's time on the singing competition series is as smooth as silk.
"Everyone's glad Carrie's joined the panel," an insider spilled to GLOBE Magazine. "She's not only a huge talent, who contributes so much to the show, she's also a sweetheart to boot, but Ryan's taking his idolatry to a crazy level.”
"She's quite nervous and wants to do her best job, and Ryan's appointed himself Carrie's guiding light. She's his favorite, he gives her most if not all his attention and when she speaks, he's all ears," the mole continued.
Nevertheless, the source went on to say that Ryan's unwavering commitment to ensuring the success of his pet, Carrie, gives the impression that Luke and Lionel are not as significantly essential.
However, even though Lionel and Luke may be irritated by Ryan's adoration, they have nothing but the most profound regard for Carrie, who triumphed in the fourth season of "American Idol" in May of 2005 and became a global success.
The informant also mentioned that the men are captivated by Carrie and don't hold it against her. That being said, they are becoming increasingly enraged by Ryan's blatant favoritism toward her.
The spy said that it would be highly appreciated if Ryan could tone it down a notch or two.
With returning judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, as well as longstanding presenter Ryan Seacrest, the singer of "Jesus, Take The Wheel" appears to be completely at ease in the first on-set photo posted on October 2, as per PARADE. Despite wearing a Barbie pink dress and caplet with blue stilettoes, Carrie is beaming with happiness.
Carrie disclosed in August that she considers herself versatile and not exclusively rooted in country music, E! Online reported. This is in response to the question of what sort of mentorship she wishes to provide to the new crop of individuals interested in pursuing careers in the music industry.
"Hopefully, when I listen to people come and audition," Carrie said during an unexpected appearance at the “Music Row Happy Hour” hosted by SiriusXM in Las Vegas on August 23. "I can have any lens I need to put on in terms of what music I’m thinking."
"I feel like I’ve been so blessed to obviously be so rooted in country music, but I’ve been able to be a part of many other genres or music as well," she added. "I mean, I’ve got a song with Papa Roach right now. It’s a lot of fun."
