Before splitting from Machine Gun Kelly, Megan Fox reportedly purchased an $8 million home for herself.

On Wednesday, sources told TMZ that the actress from "Jennifer's Body" purchased the house in a well-known Los Angeles celebrity enclave.

Even before their breakup, Megan, who is now expecting their first child together, was apparently planning to move out without the artist.

Megan, on the other hand, became "concerned about safety" as a result of the lifestyle of the singer of "Lonely Road," which frequently involves organizing huge groups. This feeling pushed her to look for her own place. In fact, the couple had not lived together for the last year.

So, before deciding on her new home, she had been moving between rental properties.

The exes reportedly broke up during their Thanksgiving trip to Vail, Colo., that was just two weeks after Megan publicly announced her pregnancy.

A source told Page Six that Megan, 38, ended her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, 34, after discovering some disturbing conversations with other women on his phone.

"When they went away for the Thanksgiving holiday, she became suspicious and decided to go through his phone," the insider shared, adding that she "found text messages involving other women and decided she was done."

The source added that Megan always "had trust issues" throughout their on-and-off relationship "because of past behaviors."

According to the insider, the actress was prepared to attempt to "rebuild her trust" with Kelly, but after seeing the text messages, she is now prepared to walk on.

"Megan is a strong, independent woman and doesn't need a man in her life," the source said.

Megan was initially connected to the singer-songwriter in 2020. Megan and her ex-husband Brian Austin Green have three children together: Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7.

They got engaged in January 2022, but they later called it off.

Many netizens have shared their opinions online.
