According to him, "what had happened was" he dated an excessive number of white women.

According to PageSix, while breaking out into song after his new special Netflix special titled "What Had Happened Was," Jamie Foxx made a semi-joking declaration that he is finished with white women and that he has been "cured" from doing so ever since he began dating them.

"Sisters, I'm here to tell you, I've been cured," he said, sitting at the piano. "I've been cured of everything, no more white girls. I'm serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls!"

After that, the star of "Django Unchained," whose romance with Katie Holmes ended in 2019, said he is "back on the black side of town."

"No more potato salad and raisins," he added per Daily Mail. "No more white girls! No more spray tan, no more big titties, no ass. No more white girls I gotta let 'em know!"

After that, Foxx, who is 56 years old, referred to Black History Month by stating that because he will no longer be involved with any white ladies in his romantic life, it will be "February all year long."

The Grammy winner then made a humorous clarification, saying, "No more white girls—in public," which elicited a round of applause and laughter from the audience.

Prior to making the announcement, Foxx joked about his followers, who were spreading stories about him being cloned on the internet.

He went on to say that the rumors ended after he was seen with a white woman being seen together.

It was most recently suggested that Foxx was romantically involved with Alyce Huckstepp, who was seen for the first time with the "Blame It" singer in May of 2022. However, Foxx did not reveal any names.

Later on, in September 2023, Foxx and Huckstepp went on vacation to Cabo, just a few short months after his health scare, which he also addressed in his new special.

Despite her presence at his daughter Corinne's wedding in September, there have been no rumors that the couple is going to end their relationship.

Foxx and Holmes, 45 years old, started dating just over a decade before his connection with Huckstepp. They later acknowledged their relationship in 2015. Despite being together for six years, they decided to end their relationship in 2019.

The special elicited strong comments on social media, with some commending Foxx's comedy and others scrutinizing his methodology.

"Jamie Foxx went too far with this one. Comedy or not, it's low-key offensive," an X user posted.

"This is the funniest thing I've seen all year. Jamie's back, and I'm here for it," another user said.

"Why bring race into dating preferences like that? Unnecessary," a third netizen commented.

"Comedy is meant to push boundaries. Jamie nailed it! People need to relax," another chimed in.

"He's clearly joking, but you can tell there's some truth there," a follower added.

"Cancel culture won't touch Jamie. He's untouchable-too talented for anyone to care," a user wrote.
