Justin shared a brief message about his faith on Instagram Saturday as his once close friend Sean "Diddy" Combs continues to face criminal allegations of sexual assault, abuse, sex trafficking and more horrific claims.
"How can I really believe Jesus is with me?" Justin, 30, asked on his Instagram Story. Then, per Page Six, he shared the following response: "Well for me Justin, its [sic] simply his goodness that keeps convincing me. Every time I thought he wouldn't [sic] show up for me he always has, I'm convinced hes [sic] the perfect patient presence that guides, directs and leads me all the days of my life providing, healing, restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal."
Following Combs' arrest in September, it was alleged that Justin was battling with mental health concerns. The statement from the "Lonely" singer comes many months after the story was publicized.
In October, numerous people close to Justin told Us Weekly that he was "in a hard place mentally" due of his "history" with the founder of Bad Boy Records. They also stated that coping with the news of the charges surrounding Combs was "hard to process."
Additionally, the name of Justin was used on multiple times due to the fact that he had a past association with the rapper while he was still a teenager.
It was said by a second insider that the hitmaker of "Never Say Never" was "completely disgusted" by the sex crimes issue that involved Combs and that he had been "advised" to separate himself publicly from the disgraced singer.
However, according to Daily Mail, the singer was able to relieve some of the stress in his life by concentrating on the positive aspects of his life, such as the birth of his son, Jack Blues, who he welcomed into the world with his wife, Hailey Bieber, earlier this year.
"His happiness as a dad has outweighed his anxiety about Diddy," the insider claimed, pointing out once more that the pop singer wants "nothing to do" with the legal mess that Combs is going through.
Another source is alleged to have stated, "It's in his past, and that's where he wants to leave it."
At the beginning of that month, Justin was seen leaving the celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont alone, and he appeared to be in a rather depressed mood. This gave rise to speculation that he was struggling with his mental health.
As he wore a serious expression on his face, the Grammy winner appeared to be engaged in a profound cognitive process.
