The Duchess of Sussex has stated that she makes the same New Year's resolutions to improve her life, but after a "few drinks," she is unable to follow through with her resolutions. An admission was made by Meghan on The Tig in January 2016, some months prior to her meeting with Prince Harry. She referred to a number of behaviors that she wants to give up as "unladylike."
She wrote: "Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French. These make my New Year's resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year. The marathon hasn't happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple of drinks" per Irish Star.
"Then there's the French a language I studied through high school and then lost as I immersed myself in speaking Spanish with the Argentinians during my stint in Buenos Aires. I have put my little Rosetta Stone headset in my eager ears every year, resolving to do interviews en français, but much to my chagrin, it hasn't stuck. And when it comes to the biting of the nails well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It's unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit," she added.
Consequently, Meghan made the decision not to make any resolutions for that year in an effort to avoid disappointing herself. According to her, the only thing she wanted to accomplish in the new year was to have fun. She desired to laugh and enjoy herself while also upholding high standards and cultivating an acceptance of herself. Her commitment for the new year was to make plans, to leave room for magic, and to acknowledge that some of her plans will not work out. In spite of the fact that she has goals, she is still flexible.
According to the Mirror, it is not known what challenges Meghan and Prince Harry will confront in the year 2025. Both are scheduled to be present at the Prince Harry's Invictus Games, which will take place in Whistler and Vancouver the following month. It is also possible that Meghan will debut American Riviera Orchard this year.
In the month of March, Meghan debuted her fresh new website as well as her Instagram page, which was met with a great deal of excitement. The only people who have marketed her American Riviera Orchard jam on social media in April are her celebrity friends, despite the fact that the announcement was made.
The website does not yet offer any products for sale, and in October, her attempt to register a trademark for her brand was unsuccessful. Her response to the "nonfinal officer action" issued by the USPTO was due within three months. In the event that she did not comply, she was warned that her application might be sent without consideration.
