There's no bad blood between former couple Kate Beckinsale and comic Matt Rife despite the comic previously publicly telling her ex, Pete Davidson, to "run."

A source said that they spotted the May-December exes, Beckinsale, 51, and Rife, 29, smooching at Spago during Netflix's bash following the Golden Globes on Sunday.

"They were kissing and being affectionate with one another," a spy said, who described it all in more romantic terms than a make-out session. "Her arms were around his neck. and his arms and hands were around her waist... They were very close and then I saw them kiss a couple times."

"They are friendly exes and were having some funny conversations," said another insider, who also stated that the encounter was not a form of making out for the two of them.

When the stunning actress was 43 years old and Rife was 21 years old, the "Underworld" star began dating Rife in the year 2017.

After a year of dating, the couple reportedly broke up after meeting through a buddy they both shared.

The sweet moment at the Globes bash, "happened near the end of the night," recounted the spy. "They were in front of everyone in the corner of the main dining room. By this time it wasn't packed, people were filtering out."

In 2019, the comedian made a public remark about Beckinsale while she was dating Davidson. He told TMZ that his relationship with Beckinsale "was complicated," and he advised the former "Saturday Night Live" star to "run."

On camera, he uttered the words, "Man to man: run. Enjoy it while you can. I hope they're both happy."

Following that, he gave Davidson the following piece of advice: "Be careful."

During the course of the interview, Rife was also questioned if he would ever get back together with the star of "Serendipity." In response, he stated unequivocally, "Not a chance."

"It was complicated," he stated. "A lot of ups and downs, but she's moved on and I'm happy."

After some time had passed, Rife provided an apology for the statements, stating that he was sorry for publicly criticizing Beckinsale and added that he was being "a petty a-hole."

The reason he offered that piece of advice was because he was speaking from personal experience, having been in a relationship and coming to the realization that he and his partner were not the most compatible match. He wanted to make sure that both people were managing their feelings in a responsible manner and that they did not put themselves in a situation that could also not turn out effectively.

The actress from "Van Helsing" has been known to engage in flirtatious behavior at the Globes in the past.

After attending the Golden Globes in 2019, Beckinsale was seen flirting with Davidson, and the two of them ended up dating for a couple of months until they decided to discontinue their relationship.

According to photographs that were obtained by Page Six at the time, Beckinsale was seen leaving a party with Machine Gun Kelly in the year 2020, which was also after the Golden Globes.
