Sources have told Page Six that both Lewis Hamilton and Sofia Vergara believe that the age gap between them would make it difficult for them to have a romantic relationship.

Earlier in the week, the two were seen hanging out in New York and seemingly discussing a possible reunion. This may be due to the fact that they are both single and attractive.

Moreover, despite the fact that they got along well, "she thinks there's too big of an age gap," claimed a person who spoke quickly. "Even he thinks she's looking for something else in a guy," they added.

According to Page Six, it is true that they are in somewhat different stages of their lives, despite the fact that they are only separated by a span of twelve years.

She is 52 years old, going through her second divorce, and reaching a new pinnacle in her professional life. Despite the fact that he turned 40 last month, race car legend Hamilton has not yet committed to a relationship. In the meantime, he has recently parted ways with his long-term racing team and is already formulating proposals for his retirement.

After nine years of marriage, Vergara and actor Joe Manganiello decided to end their relationship. Before then, she had been in a long-term relationship with Nick Loeb, with whom she had a terrible legal battle over their frozen embryos.

In the meantime, Vergara has received a plethora of praise for her performance in the Netflix thriller "Griselda," which she completed after her run on the critically acclaimed show "Modern Family." The star of the show is also a co-producer of it.

Between the years 2007 and 2015, Hamilton was involved in a long-term, intermittent relationship with Nicole Scherzinger, who starred in "Sunset Boulevard."

Vergara met up with the British actor and a few of his friends at a restaurant. They were reportedly sitting next to each other by the window, per TMZ.

Because she was so captivated by Hamilton, the actress from "Griselda" hardly tasted her food, according to a source who confirmed this information to the magazine.

Whether they were entranced or not, the source said they both concluded that planning a one-on-one meeting is pointless. This is a bit of a disappointment given that she just told "Access Hollywood" that she was going to materialize "health, money, and a boyfriend" for the new year. She went on to say, "Or a lover, perhaps."

During the month of October, she stated that she was "kind of single" after being seen with orthopedic doctor Justin Saliman on many occasions.

Business Times has reached out to Sofia Vergara's representatives for additional comments.
