Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly remain estranged as they prepare to welcome their first child together, with the actress making it clear she is not interested in rekindling their relationship. The former couple, who split in November 2024, have maintained limited communication, exchanging only occasional text messages.

"They don't talk at great lengths but have exchanged a few texts," a source familiar with the situation said. Fox, 38, has reportedly distanced herself from Kelly, 34, in an effort to focus on her well-being before giving birth. "She has been taking space apart from MGK and it's been beneficial," the source added.

Despite their breakup, Fox wants Kelly to remain involved in their child's life. "[She] doesn't want to be in a relationship with him," the insider stated. "MGK wants to get back together with Megan, but she's told him she is done for good."

Fox and Kelly, who began dating in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass, had a tumultuous relationship, marked by multiple breakups and reconciliations. The couple got engaged in January 2022 but never made it to the altar.

Their struggles became public in November 2023 when Fox revealed during an appearance on Good Morning America that she had suffered a miscarriage, which took an emotional toll on both of them. "I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately and together and apart," she said.

By November 2024, Fox announced she was pregnant again, but the couple soon parted ways. According to a source, "They were trying to make it work again after the pregnancy, but they are both too hot-headed and fell back into their constant fighting. They can't get on the same page, and it's not easy for them being together."

Reports suggest trust issues played a significant role in their split. "Megan really tried to make it work, but she doesn't fully trust him, and that's something she can't reconcile with," another source said. Fox allegedly found messages on Kelly's phone that led her to question his faithfulness. "Maybe he'll change, the baby might be his wake-up call, but he has a lot of work to do to regain her trust," the source added.

The couple's separation has been described as final, though some insiders acknowledge the unpredictable nature of their relationship. "Megan and MGK have a very tumultuous relationship, so they could always get back together. But this may have been the final straw for her," a confidante said.

Fox shares three sons with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green-Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8-while Kelly is father to a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.

Friends close to Fox say she appears to be in a better place. "Everyone close to her thinks she's happier and seems to be in better spirits," an insider noted. Meanwhile, Kelly remains hopeful for a reunion, but for now, Fox has moved on, focused on her pregnancy and embracing her next chapter as a single mother.
