Prince William is not expected to initiate reconciliation with Prince Harry, as sources close to the royal household describe a total breakdown in communication and trust between the brothers. The estrangement has reportedly reached the point that Harry may not even be invited to William's future coronation, according to insiders cited by Page Six.

"I think it's done-I don't think there's [any] coming back from that," a source told the outlet. The same insider expressed frustration following Prince Harry's recent BBC interview, in which he spoke about his father refusing to communicate with him. "Before the interview, we thought, 'Come on William, extend a hand to your brother.' But now it seems that Harry hasn't learned s**t," the source said.

Harry stated during the BBC interview: "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious."

Despite these remarks, royal insiders indicate that William has privately decided to sever ties following what they describe as repeated public betrayals by the Sussexes, including Harry's memoir Spare and a series of interviews criticizing the monarchy. One source close to the family told Page Six, "There is zero trust. The family feel that private conversations with Harry are not possible."

A separate insider added: "It's taken its toll. He [Prince Harry] sees things everywhere, and he picks battles with everybody, which is tiring. You can't live in permanent battle mode. You're a 40-year-old man. You've got to stop fighting the world."

Tensions are likely to intensify further with William's upcoming appearance on Clarkson's Farm, a popular Amazon Prime series hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. The Times confirmed that "Prince William features in the next-but-one series of Clarkson's Farm." His cameo follows a visit to the Duchy of Cornwall's farming tenants in Bristol, where he met cast members Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland. William shared a quip from his eldest son: "You've got George watching now. I said to him, 'What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?' He said, 'Tell Kaleb to mind his language.'"

While the appearance is likely to be seen as a lighthearted moment, it revives controversy tied to Clarkson's December 2022 column in The Sun, where he wrote about hating Meghan Markle "on a cellular level" and fantasized about her being paraded naked while people threw excrement at her. The article drew over 25,000 complaints to the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO), which ruled it sexist.

Clarkson later claimed it was "a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones," adding that it "has gone down badly with a great many people." The Sun removed the article and issued a public apology. Clarkson also apologized, stating he was "profoundly sorry."

However, a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rejected Clarkson's account. "On December 25, 2022, Mr. Clarkson wrote solely to Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex," the spokesperson said. "The contents of his correspondence were marked Private and Confidential."

"While a new public apology has been issued today by Mr. Clarkson, what remains to be addressed is his long-standing pattern of writing articles that spread hate rhetoric, dangerous conspiracy theories and misogyny," the statement continued. "Unless each of his other pieces were also written 'in a hurry,' as he states, it is clear that this is not an isolated incident shared in haste but rather a series of articles shared in hate."
