This is going to be the final one for the calendar year, and it will feature the return of Barrett Foa's Eric Beale. It seems like something change about him during his time away from the team.
NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 6 released some preview photos featuring Eric. He's now sporting a new look, and he may not be the same person he was before. It can be recalled that he went on an undercover mission involving a secret technology last year.
Despite the secrecy surrounding it, Eric has been working on a legitimate technology and helped him earn a huge amount of money. Now that he has a different position, there is a question on whether or not he's still interested in working with the team.
The promo of NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 6 showed Eric surprising everyone -- particularly Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith) -- with his return. He looks different now that he's sporting a mustache and wearing sunglasses wherever he goes.
Eric has also got a different attitude, but Nell looks delighted to have him back. This is seemingly an indication that more stories could be explored between the two. In addition, the return of Foa's character is a way to celebrate the holiday season, although some problems are coming along the way.
Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) were, particularly, facing a lot of troubles in NCIS: Los Angeles season 12 episode 6. The latter was dismissed from his job, causing significant distress to him. Both of them are trying to find ways on how to deal with their current situation.
Kensi and Deeks were currently debating on whether or not they should get a new house. They've seemed to settle some things, but the biggest concern for Deeks is that he thinks it's not the right time to get a mortgage with it. This has something to do with him not having a job now.
Beyond this, Kensi's life is seemingly in danger now that David Kessler (Frank Military) is out there lurking somewhere. She puts this man behind bars years ago, and he became obsessed with her since then. This man will likely do everything to get back at her and could hurt her in the worst possible way.
