Microsoft has been more enthusiastic about its various gaming genres since 2011. The tech giant has released a new installment of its racing series every year. This year's Microsoft E3 show has also shown the unveiling of Microsoft's new racing sensation: Forza Horizon 4.
The Forza Horizon lineup saw its third version in 2016. But the new sequel of this racing series seems more fantastic and realistic. The first look of Forza Horizon 4 was revealed in Microsoft's 2018 E3 show alongside a premiere trailer and gameplay demo. The company didn't spare many details about the game, but trailer clip reflected enough about the game's setup.
The Verge quoted that Forza Horizon 4 will allow the players to take a journey throughout Britain in the gameplay. The racers will be able to explore both the busy life of the cities as well as the calm and natural sunshine of the countryside. The trailer showcased an iconic McLaren sports car moving across various regions, from the mushy plains to the high mountains.
Potential sources also suggested that unlike Forza Horizon 3, the newest edition will have certain extensions in terms of the level of difficulty as well as the roadmaps. Microsoft also mentioned that the game will be released for both Xbox One and PC, at the E3 presentation event.
Apart from the regional expansion, Forza Horizon 4 will feature plenty of next-gen advancements in terms of ambiance and environment. Gamespot recently noted that the official gameplay clip demonstrated some of the revolutionary in-game visual effects like dynamic weather, different seasons, muddy roads, cultivation fields, offroading of cars etc.
Besides all these tremendous attributes, the game has another big surprise for the game lovers. Forza Horizon 4 will feature a shared open world multiplayer mode, in which a player will face the ultimate challenge of racing against other real players from all parts of the world. In this mode, the cars that a player will come across will be of other players. Forza Horizon 3 hasn't shown this kind of stuff.
Microsoft promised to release the Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox One. But it is still a mystery whether the game will see the light of the day on Xbox One X console or on the basic version of the console. However, as per many gaming experts' analysis, the game will run on 4K resolution. If this speculation is true, then it is definitely a yes for Xbox One X. Forza Horizon 4 is set to release on October 2, this year.
